I've reviewed a few other Peabo cds and I always say the same thing; his voice is magical and beautiful. He is so talented and this is some of his best work.
If you are new to his music (where have you been?), then this is a good starting point, but for his bigger fans, this is only a sprinkle of material and there are many more popular songs than represented here. I give this 5 stars for the voice that is so smooth and heavenly, but realistically, he has zillions of cd's with his hits on them and there really isn't anything special here. I do still love Can You Stop The Rain and If Ever You're In My Arms Again.
Check this out for his voice, but get a few of his cds for more variety.

Universally recognized and revered as one of THE soul ballad's master singers. Peabo Bryson is nonetheless an underrated singer who has only received the success and acclaim he so deserves sporadically. Most of his big Capitol hits are featured here but it would have been nice to have more LP-only tracks also included. If you are a fan of classy, smooth and timeless romantic R&B/Soul music...waste no time in getting this fabulous CD.

Peabo Bryson never lets me down. His music is superb and this CD bears witness to that fact. Really enjoyable.

Peabo Bryson has an incredible voice and it really shines through on this album. It truly is the best of Peabo!

To me Peabo Bryson has one of the most clear and magical voices I have ever heard.I mean Peabo has the perfect voice.He puts so much emotion and feeling into every song that he sings,I mean it's almost like he's actually singing to you personally.I love this collection.It has every song that I love on it,it is definitely worth the money.I am so in love with this man.My personal favorites are,"Feel The Fire","I'm So Into You","I Can Make It Better","Closer Than Close","Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You",and "We Don't Have To Talk About Love". Basically, what I'm trying to say is that if you like Peabo Bryson you are definitely gonna love this collection,I guarantee it.

Peabo Bryson is a national treasure. He is one of the true kings of Soul. I don't think that he has ever received the recognition that he deserves. This album is a wonderful compilation of many of his greatest hits. The songs are quite extraordinary and his smooth silky vocals are not to be missed.

always have dug his voice and his talent always enjoyed all of the main hits. he had a style about him where you knew it was always him. very underrated artist and this is a must have for any fan of his work.

This Peabo Bryson, is really a one-of-a-kind singer. Mr. Bryson has a wonderful voice. Add to it a great selection of tunes included in this Time-Life collection.
The audio quality of the album is superb.

A hidden jewel: An outstanding cover version of Michael Mc Donald+Doobie Brothers' "Minute By Minute".

Definitely, a must-have for everyone!
