Ella is in top form on this disc, the best cuts from her second of the songbook collections. Standouts are "My Funny Valentine," "Lover," "Bewitched," and, of course, "The Lady is a Tramp." Her big band accompaniament is swinging and the sound is crystal clear. Only two songs from this set made the Ella's "Best of the Songbooks," so this is a nice disk to pick up.

My arrangements were much better on this one - and love it - on the job learning - very proud - more than the Cole Porter one!
