Finding a collection of Roger Whitaker's original hits is tough to find today. I've made the mistake of buying other compilations that were remade hits. That is not the case with this cd. These are the original recordings. The sound quality is very good as is the selection. If you want the real deal, this is the one to buy.

Having attended several of Rogers concerts in the past we have become dyed in the wool Roger Whitaker fans. We purchased the CD to replace some of the tapes that we have worn out. We play the cd in the car as we do our erands and we love it

If you like Whittaker you will find this enjoyable, I have all of this on vinyl but hardly ever dig them out to listen to them. Most of his best known songs are on this CD not all of them the original release version but still well done. I really enjoy his voice and this is a first quality release.

Description did not include listing of songs on CD. Contacted Amazon and was told it should have same songs as other CD by same title (18 songs) but that I should contact seller. Wanted quick delivery so I went ahead and ordered. It only had 10 songs vs 18 on other CD by same title. The 10 songs only included 3 of my favorites so I will have to order at least one more CD. I kept it since quality is supposed to be better than others - haven't ordered the other one(s) yet so I can't compare. Low score is based strictly on lack of adequate description.

The title says it all. If you enjoy "The Last Farwell", "Durham Town" and other songs by Roger Whittaker you will love this DVD.

This Voice transends reviews. I have listened to him for almost forty years. I can remember the disc jockeys initial introduction of his records," The most Captivating Voice of our Times" It was true then and it is true now.

I LOVE this cd. Roger Whitaker's voice is absolutely awesome. The quality and sound of the cd is wonderful. My mother was from England, and she also enjoyed Roger Whitaker. She passed away 1 1/2 years ago, and, so this cd is very special to me, because it reminds me of mom. These songs ARE the Very Best of Roger Whitaker.

I own a number of "Roger Whittaker" vinyl albums, and have always hated the "clicks and pops." I also own a couple of his CD's, and the quality is flakey. His CD's usually don't contain the original recording, offer poor quality sound, or both. THIS one is GREAT! It has the original hits in their original release, and the sound quality is pretty damn good. Still, they haven't gone back to the "studio masters" yet, but this CD is the best release that I've ever heard. Thanks Amazon!

We're great Roger Whittaker fans and had this on an LP way back when it first came out, so it's great to have it on CD now.All our old favorites are on this CD recalling so many memories. Thanks Amazon :-)

Rodger Whittaker is one of those artists that you just can't seem to squeaze in a box of any given genre. Not to mention, he is in music for the long haul. This is a good Cd of most of his popular recordings. He has a vocal style that is layed back and easy to listen to. I love to listen to this guy whistle too. He has more musical talent in his little finger then most of the kids on the radio will ever have. In a few words, this is a great listen!
