I WENT ON MY LUNCH BREAK TO THE LOCAL RADIO STORE AS I USUALLY DO TO PURCHASE MUSIC. I HAD BEEN MEANING TO REPLACE MY OTHER SHIRLEY MURDOCK CD'S THAT UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE REFUSED TO RETURN, BUT WHEN I SAW THE GREATEST HITS CD, I SNATCHED IT QUICK, FAST, AND IN A HURRY!!!! IT HAD EVERYTHING!!!!! WHEN I HEARD "GO ON WITHOUT YOU, I WAS AT WORK, AND THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME FROM LETTING MY CO-WORKERS SAMPLE MY VOICE WAS THE FACT THAT I NEED MY MONEY!!!!! MY EYES FILLED WITH TEARS BECAUSE MUSIC JUST DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN WHAT THAT SISTA DID TO ME AT THAT MOMENT!!! I LOVE IT AND I CANT WAIT FOR THAT DRIVE HOME SO I CAN LET ALL OF HOUSTON HEAR IT. IF YOU COLLECT OLD SCHOOL MUSIC---THIS ONE IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!!! HOW BOUT' THAT!!!!!!

Shirley Murdock has always been a fave r&b singer of mine through the '80s on up to today. This album is a nice compilation of her work. The only downside is that most of the mixes are the album versions. I always enjoyed Shirley's 12" club versions-this is just a personal preference, and by no means effects the overall talent of what is exhibited on this compilation. The two songs that really stand out for me are: "Truth Or Dare" & "No More". There are a lot of other songs on this album too like "Be Free" & "Husband", but I had purchaed these songs back in the '80s on vinyl. All 'n' all, this CD is a great tribute to the raw talent of Shirley Murdock.

I have loved Shirley's music for over ten years, when I saw all her albums on Amazon, I felt like I found the old school that I've been searching for for soooooo long. Shirley has a strong, electrifying voice, with power and soul, that moves me to want to belt out her tunes whenever, and wherever I am. Her lyrics are tight, all about good values, love, and serving the Lord.

I'm gonna add all of her music to my collection and let all of Barbados and Toronto know that this woman must never be forgotten, she's one of a kind.

First, off Shirley got her career starting off as a backup singer for Zapp and Roger she is best know for her vocals in computer love and in the midnight hour but I tell you she is a real diva she has a strong electrifying voice that really stands out and I would recommend any Shirley Murdock cd because she is really great she sings nice song and this cd is loaded with her classic trademark : as we lay it also includes go on without you, husband and other great songs she now sings gospel and she stull sounds well

This album is on point. Shirley Murdock's music is inspiring, and on this album it has some of her best songs. I would even recommend it to my dad. There are slow songs and fast so you get a little of both. It's the shznit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only recently had I heard a few songs by Shirley Murdock and I was hooked! Aside from her incredible voice, all of her music on this CD has a great beat. It's fun/funky/romantic 80's style.

Duh, you might say to my title but how many greatest hits aren't the best songs an artist has put out?

No worries here. Even has Computer Love from her pre-solo days. High quality songs from an under appreciated talent!

This CD is pretty good. I purchased it for the 2 songs that I LOVE.
