My Very Busy Sticker Stories (Charlie and Lola)

We just can't get enough of Charlie and Lola these days. This book and all the other in the series are really neat. Lots of stickers to decorate as you follow the story. All stickers are removeable. We do a page a night, and it's such a treat for my daughter before she goes to bed!

Highly recommend.

My daughter is obsessed with Charlie and Lola. This book is adorable and the fact that you can reuse the stickers is great. We take it to restaurants, waiting rooms, etc. and it provides endless entertainment.

Lots of stickers, I just wish they were more easily removed and reused once stuck.

another hit from Charlie and Lola! I only wish that there were more books (without the stickers) because my 2 year old is a bit young to fully appreciate the stickers. We read it like a regular book, and have taped the stickers in place (to keep her from curiously tearing them off again, which undoubtedly leaves her in tears). A good value for the money if you are looking for more Charlie and Lola to satisfy a little one who adores them, like mine does. This also accompanies one of the episodes we have on DVD, which is nice.

My daughter LOVES Charlie and Lola and LOVES sticker books, so she LOVED this! I wish there was more space to put the stickers. On many pages she put the stickers over pictures and words because there just wasn't enough open space. (My School Play Sticker Stories seems to have more room to put the stickers.) As with all of these books the stickers are not really reusable because they usually tear when trying to peel to re-stick. Good book but not our favorite.

I bought this book for my son's 4th birthday. We both love it b/c:

1. many vivid, fun stickers to embelish each page make the book interactive! a cute story about the different things Lola is pretending to be during her "busy" day (doctor, farmer, etc). kids can add stickers to make the illustrations their own.

2. the stickers are repositionable--fun over and over!
**Note: I showed my son how to carefully peel them off--the stickers are fairly durable but even with care one or two have ripped a tiny bit. Young children may not have the coordination to peel off the stickers by themselves.

3. great price for a book + stickers.

My 4year old daughter loves the DVDs, so naturally the books came along to supplement night time reading. The sticker books (we also have the "Picnic", "Collecting a Collection" and "Haircut") are super to carry along for dinner or other trips. Lots of stickers and fantastic artwork. However once applied can be easily ripped since my daughter likes to move the stickers around A LOT for her make believe play. The lack of durability is less of a problem with an older child. She can't be convinced to do one page a night, like another reviewer mentioned. Tip: I hide the sticker pages and read the book as is. Wishlist: make these vinyl stickers; produce these titles as regular picture books like the "tomatoe" or "wont go to bed". The sticker stories do not flow like the DVD versions.
