There are lots of good recipes using cranberries. I made the Cranberry Applesauce for Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed it. It was a nice variation on Cranberry Sauce. The book covers all uses of cranberries, main dishes, desserts etc. It has become my favorite cranberry book. It is so complete it's the only one I need.

First off, this book is tiny: it's probably 6 inches x 6 inches x 1/4 inch. And there are no photos, which is understandable but disappointing. And there's no index, but does contain a little intro on cranberries. That said, it's actually got some really good recipes: scones, muffins, turnovers, salads, rices, cookies, ice cream, salsas, etc. So although it's tiny, it packs a punch! Nice to have a book with recipes for cranberries, since they're relatively hard to cook with without specific recipes (due to tartness and low moisture content). Great little book! |
