I purchased this book for my grandchildren after reading Marley & Me. I enjoyed Marley & Me through smiles, laughter,and tears. This childrens book will bring smiles and laughter, too. I would like my grandchildren to learn how important the human animal bond is, and to always be kind and caring of the other creatures in our world.

My older grandson read the grown-up version of Marley and Me; and, I gave this book to the almost-3 yr old. He LUVS it and adores Marley. On Christmas Day the nanee and popee took the family to see Marley. Thank goodness, the little one fell asleep just as Marley was "going to sleep". The illustrations are great and the story is a heart grabber.

Animal lovers will be hard put not to smile and chuckle as they read this with their little ones this holiday season. Adorable pup Marley is excited at the prospect of snow fall and Christmas, as is his human family. He tries to 'help', with the tree trimming, etc. but just gets in the way and ends up making a mess of things!

Thankfully, his human family is tolerant and understanding, even when Marley thinks the tree makes a great toilet! Gorgeously illustrated, this fun picture book makes a perfect holiday read aloud for little ones, and even though we do not have dogs (or cats, just a lovebird), we enjoyed it!

I purchased "A Very Marley Christmas" for an "early" Christmas gift this year for my four year old daughter. For her birthday in September,someone bought her "Trick or Treat Marley" and she loved it! I thought it would be a great idea to get this Christmas book before the holiday to get her excited about Christmas. These books are very well illustrated and the wording is perfect for any age. I sometimes make up my own words to go along with the funny pictures inside. My daughter got interested in these series of books after watching the movie "Marley and Me". We even have a 9 month yellow lab named "Marley". I just ordered "Marley and the Kittens" and can't wait to give it to her for Christmas.I plan on ordering all the Marley series books over the next year!

What I Can Tell You: We love Marley here. My kids find him very sweet and funny. They want a dog just like Marley. I think as a Christmas book the books are adorable. It is sweet to think of how a dog would perceive all the changes the holidays bring in most households. My kids thought it was very funny and I have seen my son read it alone a few times as my daughter looks on.

We like big kids books. Lap books where I can read to both at the same time and it fits in "our" laps. Makes it easier for both kids to see it.

The Marley books are amazing! Our daughter fell in love with the movie so we had to get the books!

Who does not love the Marley books if you are a reader and a mom and a dog lover? We certainly do!
What a neat book. Price was great, delivery fast.

This children's story was thoroughly enjoyable. My grand-daughter loves books about dogs, and this one surely did not disappoint her.

I always like to give a book to my grandchildren at Christmas. They all enjoyed this book very much.

My son loves this book, as he does the other one, Bad Dog Marley. I think it's cute too!
