5.0 out of 5 stars The best haggadah around for young kids
We used it when our kids were small and now with our grandkids. It's stood the test of time, and the new illustrations are great for kids to color and bring to the table. A winner.

2.0 out of 5 stars Haggadah
While the content was okay, the online description neglected to indicate that the pictures were all black and white which is not conducive to a beginer's book geared for children.

I used this service with my own kids and now my grandson has his own copy. A classic that has stood the test of time. A perfect length and style for a child's first seder. A must!

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect, July 9, 2008

This is just perfect for a big family (reform) pesach--no super long passages and keeps everyone interested long enough to get all the points across. As an added bonus, the kids color it and we try the recipes.

4.0 out of 5 stars very nice for young children, and their parents, April 13, 2007
This review is from: My Very Own Haggadah (Paperback)
This is a very nice book (it reads like a standard English book, not "backwards" as a traditional Haggadah does), that is very child-appropriate. And while it is far from all-inclusive, it is a very nice supplement for a little kid who is just beginning to participate and be interested in the Passover Seder. The pictures and word-layout are excellent for a beginning reader. Also works as a coloring book, since the pictures are not colored in.

4.0 out of 5 stars "The pages turn the wrong way.", April 19, 2010

This review is from: My Very Own Haggadah (Paperback)
I wanted the school aged children in our family to be better able to follow the meaning of Haggadah. The book is illustrated nicely and easy to understand. However my 6 year old grand daughter made the comment "The pages turn the wrong way." She knows that we read from the back to front of the book.

I am very pleased with My Very Own Haggadah purchase. It is perfect for my young grandchildren. I especially like the suggestions & songs at the back of the book that not only will help them understand the story but also get them involved with the celebration.

I ordered about 20 of these and the children enjoyed them. It gave them something to do at the Seder when they needed an activity.
