This book goes with the Very Quick Job Search: Instructor's Curriculum and the Very Quick Job Search Book. The actual curriculum depend on group dynamics, so if you are an individual, it may not help you. However, if you like structure to your job serch, you may find the worksheets useful. Of particular interest are the worksheets "Jobs of Interest in the Occupational Outlook Handbook," "Information Interview Summary Worksheet," "Telephone Contacts Workseet" and the worksheet for writing a resume. Jobhunters in need of structure could conduct their entire job hunt using these self-explanatory worksheet. This review appeared in the Annotated Bibliography of Learning A Living; A Guide to Planning Your Career and Finding a Job for People with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, and Dyslexia. |
