Essential Book for your Marketing Library, September 5, 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: Vest Pocket Marketer (Paperback)
The Vest-Pocket Marketer is an excellent tool chest
that belongs on every marketer's professional book shelf.
It contains over 390 pages of short summaries of the recent
thought on subjects such as Marketing Strategy and
Planning, Advertising and Promotion, Product Development
and Introduction, Direct Marketing, Sales and Sales
Management, Industrial and Business-to-Business Marketing,
Market Research and Analysis, Public Relations and
Corporate Marketing, Pricing, and Marketing Management.
In short, the Vest-Pocket Marketer is very useful for
skimming to find a new approach to solve a marketing problem.
Regardless of the 1991 publish date, the book is still
very relevant today (1996). I rate it an "8" because
it lacks coverage of Internet/Interactive Marketing
developments of recent years. I look forward to the
second edition.
