Onf of my cats has frequent recurring eye problems due to the Herpes virus (not eye infections; just red and irritated). I tried crushing Lysine tablets into his wet food but he always seemed to find it and wouldn't eat. This poweder dissolves instantly into wet food and my cat just wolfs it down! His eyes have much improved. I was dubious at first about ordering off the internet but I'll definitely order this product again.

My husband's cat has a chronic viral sinus problem (feline herpes). When he is on Viralys, his breathing stays relatively clear, he does not sneeze as often, and is more active (I'm guessing due to his being able to breathe better).

I bought this for my cats that sometimes get Upper Respiratory Infections and seeing as how I have 13 kitties this makes it VERY easy to distribute L-Lysine. I generally put it in their wet food and they devour it without any problems.

Our cat had what we thought was an eye infection. Vet said it was herpes and he would always have it. Putting eye medicine in his eyes was not fun and I don't think very much actually went into the eye. I called the woman who ran the shelter where we got him. She told me she gives all the cats L-Lysine. Our cat has never had another problem with his eyes!

Very convenient to use.,

My vet recommended this product for my two new kittens who seem to have some upper respiratory and eye congestion. While he did not seem to think they had the Feline Herpes Virus, he did think this might help. I have been using it for less than a week and can already tell a difference in their congestion and eyes. It is easy to measure out and the kittens do not even seem to notice it is on their food. I don't even mix it in I just sprinkle on top. Since they only use 1/2 scoop 2 X daily I anticipate this will last many months. I found the best price here on Amazon.com. Shipment arrived within just a few days of ordering!

I've been using this product for my senior cat for about 18 months now. Within two weeks of starting treatment, his eye discharge cleared almost completely. It has almost completely eliminated his eye discharge due to herpes virus. Mixes well with wet food.

I have 3 cats, but only one is in need of the lysine(Arthur). He has had upper respiratory tract infections every 3 months (+/-) for 2 years now. We have been trying to give him lysine orally for about a year and a half with a wonderful thing called a pill-popper, but it seemed to make his condition worse by stressing him out. Then I found this, at first I was skeptical because, unlike my other cats, Arthur will not eat ANYTHING that is not fish flavored or has medication in it (we have previously tried putting dewormers in his food when he was 1 and he turned up his nose to it). I have only had him on it for a month but the convenience of giving him a "special treat" every night and him scarfing it down is amazing.I would definatly recommend this product to try to any pet owner with a cat that needs lysine.

We sprinkle it on our cats food. They eat it. Easy to order, easy to use, delivered right to our door - what's not to like?

As my cat got older, I noticed he was having more problems with his eyes running - he seemed so uncomfortable. My vet recommeded giving him a lysine supplement. Within 2 weeks there was a significant improvement and now his eyes don't water and tear up at all. Such an easy fix for such a big return.

Amazing results,

This produce made an enormous difference!
My cat suffers from the viral affliction Stomatitis; it causes ulcers in the mouth, pain, tooth decay, and foul mouth odor. The vet reccomended adding the powder to my cat's food in order to calm (not cure) the condition. After one month my cat is able to eat normally, groom himself, and is gaining weight. Prior to using the powder my cat was barely eating, wouldn't groom regularly, and was emaciated. His level of suffering has decreased dramatically. |
