I bought this book thinking that I'd pass it on to my nephew who is in the Navy. But honestly, I plan to buy another one for my personal finance library. This book takes a thorough look at the specific problems faced by vets. But there's so much great information, it can be useful to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of personal finance. I especially like the chapter on planning ahead and setting goals because that's so important. Overall, it's a well-written book and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this book for my brother serving in the Navy. Money can be a touchy subject with family, but this book helped start the conversation and both he, I and our mom are now saving for his one-year-old's college education!

Very basic. I expected more insight information a veteran can use.
