I bought this book to supplement my vet clin path course. My instructor at UF is absolutely incredible, but I learn best be repetition. Reading material in from a different source really helps me learn, and this text is excellent in the way it is written. The diagrams are fantastic, and easy to understand. The case studies book that comes with the text was super helpful when studying, because I could quiz myself. Highly recommended text!

This clin path book has excellent colour pictures. Haematological and biochemical analytes abnormalities come with clear explanations.

Great book, I struggle with Duncan and Prasse's and Scott's veterinary clin path, they are based on bullet-points and no pictures, and this is a nice, illustrative, easy-to-follow book which makes clin path easier.

This book is excellent. It covers the topics in a common sense way that makes for easy and enjoyable reading. Goodness knows I never thought I would say that about a textbook. The pictures are fantastic and really help driving home the content. If there is any book I would buy (and keep) in vet school it would be this one.

Although I took this class with Dr. Thrall, even if that was not the case this book would have been very helpful. It is written where you can easily understand it. I have had many now veterinarians recommend the book too me saying it helped them when they took Clin. Path..

This book is an excellent source of easily understandable information and explanation of clinical lab data. The clinical case booklet also helps when practicing workups.

Buying this book was a total waste. I rarely ever used it and when I did, I found it to be rather unhelpful and poorly written. Fortunately for me, my prof provided above adequate notes because if I'd been forced to rely on this textbook, I would never have done as well in the class.
