The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges coordinates the national and international affairs of all 33 veterinary medical colleges in the United States and Canada, nine departments of veterinary science, nine departments of comparative medicine, three other veterinary medical education institutions, eight international colleges of veterinary medicine and three affiliate international colleges of veterinary medicine. The AAVMC fosters the teaching, research and service activities of our members, both nationally and internationally. The mission of the AAVMC is to improve the quality of life for people and animals by advancing veterinary medical education, improving animal health and welfare, strengthening biomedical research, promoting food safety and food security, and enhancing environmental quality.

I purchased this book for my daughter who is in a pre-vet program. We wanted to know about veterinary programs at schools throughout America. This resource book was very informative and helped us narrow down which schools she will apply to.

The book was sent very fast. The information is great, it is hard to find all of the information they provide online. The best part is the tables at the end of the book. Information on GRE, GPA, attrition, etc. This info. you CAN NOT find online for all of the schools.

Did provide the basic information for each US AAVMA accrediated schools. Now all you gotta do is have good grades and your golden. I would recommend this book to the vet school aspiring.
