With top notes of neroli, coriander, & bergamot the first initial scent is citrus, clean and fresh. Then the core notes of vetiver and cedar are evident and sustainable through the duration.A Guerlain original that has stood the test of time, for any vetiver lover this is a "Must Have" to their collection.

Earthy, mossy, fresh, clean, powdery, manly.How such divergent scents come together and make such a wonderfully unique Eau de Toilette is testament to the talent of perfumer Jean Paul Guerlain. This 1961 designed scent is indeed a classic because its effect goes so much deeper than just being a great fragrance; it is an archetypal aura unearthing deep memories of awakening dawn in a deep, misty, loamy forest with the freshness and cleanness of a new day's sun breaking through the shadows of the forest's leafy canopy. Guerlain Vetiver is that evocative.

Manly, yes, but I like it, too!,
Vetiver Guerlain is by no means the oldest fragrance made by Guerlain but it is one of the most popular. It is a complex yet clean and balanced blend of citrus, grassy, and peppery notes with just a touch of tobacco. It is not in the least bit musky. As with all scents, it is not right for everyone, but more men will like this than not and women find it very appealing.In fact, many women wear Vetiver Guerlain as well, despite it being a men's fragrance. I began wearing it after "borrowing" some from a boyfriend. No, it wouldn't be the best choice for an evening at the opera but it's a nice all-around scent that makes me think of a picnic on a lawn.
