Glyco-flex III worked wonders on the two dogs we have used it with over the years.

Our Border Collie (working dog, now retired) has arthritis as does our Great Pyranees (livestock guardian dog, now mostly retired by her own choice!).

Both, at different times, had difficulty getting up or limped. Within 4 weeks of being on Glyco-flex III, both were completely mobile. And, they love the taste, taking it like a treat.

Now that they are both elderly, each has had to have an anti-inflammatory added to their daily regimen too, but I'm convinced that the Glyco-flex is still an important part of keeping them comfortable and active.

When you compare other brands, make a note of the amount of active ingredients per tablet. I almost switched to try another brand, and realized that Glyco-Flex was still cheaper per dose as another major brand had only 500 mg of glucosamine (e.g.) vs 1,000 mg in a Glyco-Flex III. The tablets are scored, so they can be easily broken in half for dosing smaller dogs. (Our Border Collie gets half a tablet per day, while the Great Pyranees gets a full one per day.)

Over the years, we've tried many of the joint supplements on the market for my arthritic 11-year-old German Shepherd dog. She's had arthritis since puppyhood and it wasn't until we found Glycoflex III that we saw a difference in her lifelong front leg limp (arthritis in her elbow). Although her limp was gone, she still showed some stiffness in her gait. On the recommendation of a chiropractic veterinarian we added Serrapeptidase and Cetyl-M to her diet. Now she walks smoothly and perfectly. She's even is able to walk in deep snow, which was impossible before and I was out in the woods making trails for her all winter. Now she makes her own trails!

She doesn't like to eat the Glycoflex, so I crush a tablet into her dinner.

I shop around for the best price online and Amazon consistently wins. Now if they'd just adjust their shipping rates for weight rather than price it'd be perfection!

I was worried when I found this product at such a fantastic price that there had to be a catch. No worries now! Same product that I got from the vet's office at 50% of the price. Product is fresh and looks great. My 10 y/o black lab/rottie mix had ACL surgery about 5 years ago, and in March, refused to get up. She had been on Rimadyl only. The vet switched her to Meticam and the Glyco-Flex III and we are back to our daily walks and rides. My dog loves these, takes them just like a treat every morning. I'll never have another large breed dog that is not on a level of the Glyco-Flex. Fantastic product!!! Highly recommend the shipper as well. I ordered this on Monday, standard shipping, and received it today, Wednesday. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I've been using this with my dog for over a year with great results.

My dog has luxating patellae (kneecaps that move to the sides), occasionally making her hind legs unusable for a few minutes and ensuring that she will develop arthritis in both knees.

The vet recommended I put my dog on a product with 1000 mg of glucosamine and 1000 mg of MSM per day to retard the development of arthritis in her knees. The vet explained that the two ingredients worked better together than either would on its own.

Glyco-Flex III was the only product I could find that met those requirements! Synovi G3 comes close, but will not supply the full dose in one tab. It's easy to find products with sufficient glucosamine, but nearly impossible to find products with sufficient MSM or 1000 mg of glucosamine and MSM in a single product. Glyco-Flex III was the only choice for us.

My dog has done quite well on this product. She thinks they are treats and comes running for her tablet. Her mobility has improved with it, we've had no incidents with her hiking up a hind leg and we've seen no decline in her activity level (which would have been expected over time with her knee problems). I hadn't thought she was in regular pain before we started the Glyco-Flex III, but she started stretching out her hind legs again when she would get off the couch and needing less time to recover after lots of running at the park after a month on this product, so she had been in some discomfort that the Glyco-Flex alleviated.

I have a rottwieler that is 13 years 3 months old,so old Purdue University is studying him and other Rotts that old,studying their remarkable disease resistance..Hips are shot,and remember,I am told he is right now the equivalent of 100 years old in people years,he can climb the 4 or 5 steps to get into the house now.I ran out a month ago and he was without for two weeks and he couldnt climb the steps.And he does far worse when off this product a couple of weeks.The fish oil lubes the joint I guess.His hips will collapse a little sometimes,I have to pick him up from the rear after a nights sleep.He limps a little,but I believe thats just age but then he can move once he gets going.He is a worse case scenario,been on it awhile now,and it helped more two or three years ago.HE IS AGAIN, 100 YEARS OLD! BUT HE IS I believe,pain free,thanks to the fish oils lubricating and anti-inflammatory action.It's better than drugs,thats for sure.

I have been using Glyco Flex for 2 years. I have a 10 year old boxer that I adopted. She had surgery on her cruciate (sp?) ligament and has a steel pin in the bone just below it. When I adopted her she wouldn't put weight on the leg at all. After 2 months on Glyco Flex 3 she walked on all 4 and has ever since. I have a young boxer with a shoulder injury that doesn't seem to want to heal. My vet has put him on Glyco Flex as well to reduce the inflamation and prevent or at least put of early onset arthritis.

My dog was born with hip dysplasia and I was told to give her glyco flex. After 10 years she is still going strong.
I think it is a great product.

I have a 12 1/2 year old yellow lab who was having a difficult time getting up four stairs due to his arthritis. After 2 weeks of taking Glyco-Flex 3, he makes it with no problem. He also is back to a fast trot in the back yard and going for a walk again. I would highly recommend this product!

I'm always looking for a good joint supplement for my 13 year old lab. So far, he's doing well - moving better and best of all, he loves the taste!
