This handlebar mounted computer helps you track your speed and mileage with multiple functions including speed comparator and current, average, and maximum speeds, as well as cumulative and trip odometers. With a large LCD display with three screens, the computer is easy to use and read. And the computer also helps you keep track of important bicycle maintenance schedules with the service reminder function. Auto-awake and start-up help prolong battery life and EZ tire setup with wheel circumference setup make it a snap to use the computer.

Vetta RT255 Computer features include speed comparator, current speed, average/maximum speed, ride time, cumulative odometer, trip distance reader, 11 multi-freeze frame memories, 10 laps, a 12/24-hour clock, and auto awake and start-up. The computer is water resistant and can be used in varying weather conditions. Built to last, the computer has replaceable cover, and an extra clear front cover is included.

I found it easy to install and setup.
I just needed to figure out how to reset each trip information, and I did it! First show the same information on screen 1 and 3, then push and hold button 1 and 2 for some seconds.

Update: Passed away!

The humidity kill it! Not a very good sealing.

Fairly good computer overall. Setup is tricky. Make sure you follow the instructions very carefully. To reset the maintenance timer, you need to go through the whole setup routine each time. Would not recommend to a friend.

I already didn't like this unit. The semi-english instructions sounded like they might be helpful if you already knew what they were trying to tell you. The lapping features were hard to use and didn't tell me what I wanted to know (as in, how long did that last lap take?). And I had to have the sending unit replaced (thank goodness for the friendship of The Bike Shop). So I was grudgingly getting along with the thing until I rode with it in the rain. Corroded the contacts, and when I made headway getting those back, the buttons failed. Yep, this was my first bike puter. I guess I expected too much of it.

Hard to install. Take it to a bike shop and let the professionals do it.

Nice unit--good value

It works very well and has a nice feature set. Fairly easy to read during the ride, but not that easy to be riding and switching functions. Read more
