I have read all 5 books in this series. I started out with a 99 cent book for a vacation that seemed to pop up in the suggested list of some of my favorite books so I picked it up. It didn't take me but a few days to purchase all 5 and anxiously awaiting the 6th. These books are full of action, love, humor, ever changing story line, great characters and typical human flaws and mistakes. If you are looking for something that you can't put down until the end and love a good romance, love triangle, fictional/mythological setting it will be right up your alley. Enjoy!

The first 3 books of this series was pretty good. I had to get used to the style of writing... lack of details, jumping from one subject to another, etc. However, the storyline was fresh and pretty entertaining. After book 4 I was really tired of the constant trainwreck that is Skyla. But, I stuck in there and hoped it would get better with book 5... hoping that the story would wrap up. I'm about 1/3 through Vex and I'm struggling with finishing it. I've found myself getting really bored with it all. You would think the characters would grow and would learn from their mistakes. Nope. I've actually found myself disliking Skyla and her immature, idiotic thinking. I'm tired of hearing about how perfect Gage is... his glowing eyes and brilliant teeth and perfection. Her thinking Logan is a liar but blind to his beauty. Marshall who is clearly dangerous yet still gorgeous and irresistable (however I find myself liking him the most!) and she keeps kissing all of them like she has no willpower of her own. It's all very tiring and I just don't know if I can finish it. I have never reviewed a book before but I had to with this one because I am so frustrated with it. Very disappointing.

I really liked the first three books. The fourth one was alright, but this one frustrated me. I feel like it's just the same scenarios over and over again. Skyla is acting totally sleazy, she's constantly thinking these wild thoughts and being so scatterbrained, it's just hard to tell what her intentions really are. Almost every chapter ends with her wishing death on someone. She is constantly complaining, about how people need to be honest with her when she is lying about something every other page. She is so hypocritical!

She is always getting into trouble and never paying the consequences. What happened with the whole Kate thing??? The police made it sound like they were going to investigate her for murder and then POOF nothing more on the subject. It's like it never happened... What???
That was just strange...

I would think with Skyla knowing all of this future war stuff, she would grow up and be more mature. Maybe realize that boys are not the biggest problem in her life. Or at least pick one and go from there! Maybe quit peeking into the future so much *cough*stopkissingMarshallallthetime*cough*(lol) and just let things happen the way they naturally should.

She just needs to become a more independent, strong heroine. I'm tired of her bark being bigger than her bite.

She is way too self absorbed and only cares about "Why won't Chloe die?" "I'm gonna kill Chloe." "Logan is lying, I can't trust him. "But I still love Logan." "I'm lying to Gage too much." "Marshall is hot but such a total psycho. I'm gonna go make out with him some more." "But I still love Gage."

It's just getting repetitive and uninteresting.

Please please PLEASE make Slyla a better character! I cant stand her anymore.

Addison Moore is fastly becoming one of my favorite authors. I love the Celestra Series books. This book was no exception. Skyla and Gage's relationship continues to grow. There is mistrust in someone that she was once close to, and Chole is still calling shots. I think my favorite part of this book is Ethan though. I don't want to spill too much, so you will just have to read it.

Keep up the great work Addison. I can't wait to read the next book in this series! :-)

I found this book of the series leaving me rather, well, vexed. I suppose in that case it was appropriately titled. I found Skyla to be annoyingly slutty, simple-minded, and outright selfish. I was disappointed that the main character took a turn in an unattractive direction. A love triangle is entertaining, even a love square, as was in this case. However, jumping from mouth to mouth with guys, naked with one guy and then half naked with another, just doesn't make her seem like a strong person. She is constantly waffling with her decisions. I could have done without about 50% of the book because it was all about her talking/thinking about losing her virginity. That just gets downright annoying after awhile.

It truly saddens me to not love this book like the ones previously, but if I am going to be honest, I have to give both good and bad.

On an up note or two, Ms. Moore continues to wow me with her words. Again, there were quite a few lines that were truly eloquent. Also, I must say that I was pleased to see that the description of Gage's eyes wasn't on every other page. I will finish the series because I do need to know what was all for in the end. Others may have truly enjoyed this book, so please don't let my middle of the road review keep you from beginning the series (if you haven't already started).

Marshall, Logan or Gage??? Celestra Series-Addison Moore
Is anyone else bugged with Skyla in this book? She is a total mess. There has to be some sort of redeeming quality in a main character for me to want to keep reading a series. I think I am done after this book. And that whole shaving the legs bonding moment? Lame! Why on earth would she... Read More
