Some people today are just able to capture that sound of the 1960's so that it sounds like the real thing,

Apparently, the Barry Gemso Experience is actually of our time, and were not sent in a time tunnel by Dr. Raymond Swain and Dr. Ann MacGregor. If every track is as good as "Fuzz" then this is one of those CDs that is far up in line on my list to buy once this college-degreed economic functionary stops making poverty wages in our new post-George Bush neoconomy.

It is like a soundtrack for a romantic foriegn film! This LP is much better than Ski Lodge (which is also brilliant). LA VIA VIE is a wonderful and diverse LP filled with marvellous arrangements, vocalists and melodies. IT is like a soundtrack for a romantic foriegn movie taking place in the 60's. EVERY SINGLE DAY and DIAL S FOR SIREN are my favorites!

A pseudo soundtrack to a wonderful & glamouroforeign film! Some of it is latin. Some of it is indie pop. Some of it is broadway. All of it is beautiful! This is probably the most imaginative LP I have heard in a while. The arrangements alone are magnificent. The variety of vocalists and lyrics are all wonderful too! There is not one bad track. "Dial S For Siren" and "Every Single Day" are my favorites.
