5.0 out of 5 stars Reminiscient of Motown
The first time I listened to this CD I thought - "eh, it's just ok". The second time I said, "hm, this is really good", and it just kept getting better from there. Everytime I listen to it I feel like I discover a new favorite song and I enjoy the CD all the more.

QUE DECEPCION CUANDO COMPRE ESTE DISCO, SU PRIMER DISCO ES EXCELENTE Y COMPRE ESTE PENSANDO QUE IBA A SER INNOVADOR Y FRESCO, PERO ENCONTRE TODO LO CONTRARIO. MAS DE LO MISMO, 11 CANCIONES EXACTAMENTE IGUALES, CON BUENAS VOCES PERO MAS ABURRIDAS QUE UNA CLASE DE COSTURA. 5.0 out of 5 stars Reminiscient of Motown, May 19, 2005

The first time I listened to this CD I thought - "eh, it's just ok". The second time I said, "hm, this is really good", and it just kept getting better from there. Everytime I listen to it I feel like I discover a new favorite song and I enjoy the CD all the more.

Some of the tracks remind me of Boyz-2-Men in the ways they harmonize, but Sin Banderas definately has a sound all their own. I love their slower ballads - but suprisingly, my favorite tracks are the faster, more upbeat tracks like Magia (track 6). If you want to enjoy some good Spanish music that is remiscient of Motown - buy this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful, catchy and totally romantic......, July 26, 2006
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
For those of you who have never heard of Sin Bandera, this album is your opportunity to get a taste of their artistry and stirring musical sensitivity.

Who are Sin Bandera? They are Leonel Garcia, from Mexico, and Noel Schajris, from Argentina. For starters, their voices are absolutely a pleasure to listen to. They have a real talent for conveying the pleasure and pain of romance in through their lyrics, melodies and expression. What's more, they aren't sappy or repetitive. Although this music is deceptively laid back, don't overlook the attention to instrumentation, harmony and diversity in musical influences. Some of my favorite songs on this album are the ones that have gotten little airplay in the United States. Many people know this album for the hit "Que Llloro" (translation: How I Cry). Though, this song is beautiful and heartbreaking,I love when these guys tap into more Latin influences ("Ven" and "Te Esperare" as two examples, where you hear flamenco elements), as well as their more jazzy sensiblities ("Magia" and "Cancion Para Los Dias Lluviosos").

You will fall in love with this duo and their wonderful music and definitely won't be disappointed. Buy this album today......

5.0 out of 5 stars There needs to be more than five stars, December 18, 2003
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
I was not expecting as much from this cd, since the first one was just amazing. This one lives up to Sin Bandera's reputation and also adds a new and innovative touch to their previous work. The songs are beautiful, moving and intense. Ven is a cute song and the duet with the singer from Presuntos implicados is VERY cool. The cd in all is beautiful, and one will not be disappointed. This group is overwhelming talented, producing QUALITY music!

4.0 out of 5 stars THIS CD IS WAY BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE!, October 24, 2003
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
The cd starts with a great song that will make you feel awesome. The ballads are perfect. Some upbeat songs are way cooler too. There is light duet with another artist and it is nice too. You will not regret it when you hear all the songs. And the best thing about this Cd is that you won't want more because the 17 songs that it has is enough to satisfy your needs. when I was all over hearing it, I was: "THIS IS AWESOME" It sure looks like Sin Bandera took the time to plan and sing all the songs really well. I dont know why, but my Fav. is "Mientes tan bien"(You lie so good) because the sound and the lyrics just give you goosebumps and it makes you think a lot.

i bought this cd a few days ago and I am enjoying it a lot, and my next cd that I will buy is: "ABRAZAR LA VIDA" by another great Latin pop artist: luis fonsi. He is really the great balladist who makes girls cry a lot and for guys? ummmmmmmm, what can I say? he sings very well. I also reccommend you checking out for him: LUIS FONSI-->ABRAZAR LA VIDA(Embrace life) coming out OCT.28. THanks for reading this review and all I can say is that I wrote it with my most sincere and humble opinion.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised!, April 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
I bought this CD because I'd heard one of the songs on the radio. The very first time I listened to the entire CD there were a few songs I did not like, but I was still pleased with it overall. It's grown on me overtime, and now I love it. A bit melancholic, but very good. I strongly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A heart is full of sentimental journey, January 14, 2004
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
My favortite tracks are by order "contigo", "tal vez", "puede ser", "bien". If you like all the ballads like me. I don't think the fast tracks are so superb. They are at their best at heart-throbbing ballads. If you love singing, you can't help singing along "contigo" everytime you play the track, "Quiero volar contigo..."

How incredible the two singers have the same voice although they are not twin and don't even look like each others. I saw the Argentinian singer once in Buenos Aires during X'mas 2003 and he's full of life and charm!

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!!!, November 9, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: De Viaje (Audio CD)
I didn't think that they could come up with a better cd than the first, but they did. De Viaje is unbelievably phenomenal. I think it will win many, many awards and I would recommend it to everybody, even if you don't fully understand Spanish. My favorites are Mientes Tan Bien, Ven, Que Lloro, Aqui, Amor Real, De Viaje y ABC.
