I bought this product hoping it would work, but honestly feeling it probably wouldn't. I was so pleased to try it & find out that not only does it work, but the results are very natural looking! I have spent almost every year since I was a teenager in the sun because I LOVE being tan. I feel like my skin is beginning to show that. I decided this year I would start protecting my skin...but hated the thought of being pale all summer. Lucky me I found a solution!!! My only complaint is that the product doesn't include very good directions. I found a website that has a "how to" video which I found very helpful! Anyway...good product!!!

I go 3-4 times a month for a machine mist or airbrush tan at my local salon. I didn't buy this as a replacement for that. I bought it for traveling when I am away from home for more than a couple of days or for when I'm busy and don't have time to visit the salon. This product will be a perfect compliment for that.

I first used this product a few days after I got a spray tan at my local salon. I noticed absolutely NO change in my skin tone whatsoever, so I thought the tanning solution was a total rip. I decided to give it another try, so I waited for another 4 days, until the day before I was to go and get another tan, as my current skin tone was almost back to my norm (light complected).

I then sprayed the solution again only onto 1 side of my chest, upper thigh, and left buttocks. After spraying, I noticed very little if any change. Again, I thought the solution was useless. However, the next morning, I got up and looked in the mirror, and I was tan in the areas that I had sprayed, and still light everywhere else.

I was expecting an "instant" tan color, like at my salon, but what I found out, is that this solution takes time to work. It does NOT contain any instant bronzer, like the solutions do at my regular salon, so the color change is not instant. With only DHA as the colorant, it has to absorb into your skin over the next 4 hours to see any really visible changes.

I've decided to buy some other tanning solutions from the web and use with my iBod airbrush gun.

After doing some research online, I found a nice selection of product, with varying sizes, and some of the cheapest prices at www.tanforless.com.

I think I should have even better results with some of these other products. If the included tanning solution had been better, I would've definitely given this product 5 stars.

I got this on Friday special from Amazon for $25 shipped, thinking how much I would save in Mystic tanning sessions by doing this myself at home. I am not impressed-- I acknowledge my unit may have been defective, but I'm not taking the chance and I'm returning it to Amazon for a refund.

In short, it did not work well at all. The plug on the recharging unit got too hot to the touch after charging for a little while. The reservoir was very difficult to remove and it did not spray very strong. Worst of all, it did a poor job on me-- although I tried to coat myself evenly, I am only tan in places here and there. I am tannest on spots on both of my hands, which is very noticeable and embarrassing. In addition, the spray gun seemed to be a bit leaky- yuck.

So, the experiment did not go well and it's back to Mystic for me. This is a poor product and based on its performance, I would say that if you paid a penny for it, it would be one cent too much.

This is my first Amazon review because this is the first disappointing item I have ever bought on Amazon. I got my first IBOD Tanning System and tried to use it. The gun clogged immediately and the battery wouldn't hold a charge, so I returned it (paying alot for shipping to return it). The second gun arrived and when I used it, the same thing happened. Since I couldn't justify another expensive shipping charge, I am now stuck with this horrible piece of junk. Oh, by the way, they only give you 30 days to ship it back. It took 2 weeks to get my return spray gun, thus my time ran out. I will never order another Viatek product again. My Aztek gun was 1/2 the price of this one and worked much better.

I recieved this item right on time. The gun works wonderfully, spraying a very fine mist. That would be fine except that the tanning soulution i revieved was not of the same brand depicted. Also the tan extender that came was not the same as the one depicted, infact its not even an extender, its a sunburn releif. Why would i need this after a spray tan? Im looking into getting a better liquid tan for the gun, and once i find one im sure ill be much happier with the product. Overall not bad, but a little missrepresentd.

First, the tanning solution bottle appeared to have been previously opened, or at least the foil inside the cap that seals the bottle wasn't sealed.

I carefully read and followed the instructions to the letter. The tanning solution is not a bronzer, which makes it difficult to tell if you have applied it evenly. It took overnight for the tan to develop - and what a disappointment! I ended up with a very streaky tan as well as drip marks in a couple places. Determined to try to it again, I had my husband carefully apply the solution again. The results ended up being not much better than the first application. I gave it a final try a few days later, but again, it seems impossible to get any even tan - now I've been waiting/exfoliating for a week trying to get rid of what's left of this bad fake tan.

The solution does give a decent color tan, but I'll stick with other products or the salon before I ever try using this device again.

I bought the IBOD Airbrush Tanning system. When I got the item and went to use it i found out that a special plug in (230 Volt) was needed. I dont know if I was missing a part with this package or what was going on because the instruction said use a standard outlet but it didn't work. I never got to use the product but if anyone wants to buy it for personal use make sure you BUY the IBOD PERSONAL AIRBRUSH TANNING SYSTEM. That one clearly says you can use a 110 volt outlet which is standard.

I purchased this item as a tester before I spent $350 on a professional spray gun from a larger retailer. I was expecting to at least get a month or two of use out of it (considering it comes with a year warranty). I was pleased the first use when I tested only on one foot, then 2 hours later I came back to do the other...no can do. The unit hasn't worked since and the support desk isn't much support at all. All they tell you to do is clean it - why should I have to keep cleaning a product that hasn't sprayed more than a tablespoon of solution??? So if your looking to tan more than a few inches of your skin, you should opt for another product.

Do your research and spend the extra money to get a better product - this thing is useless!!! All I want is my money back but Viateck keeps telling me that they want to make it right and send another. I should have done more research before purchasing because it turns out that only 1 out of every 5 or 6 reviews is favorable - even then they say that it's not meant for tanning your whole body as the battery won't last. Buyer Beware! I wound up just putting the solution is a spray bottle to get by until I get a better product.
