My son received this gift and would like to review it himself, and this is what he said:

I got this yesterday. It's the crappiest solar kit ever. The solar panel doesn't work. The plastic is the wrong size in multiple places. It was molded so badly some of the parts weren't usable. Nothing fit together. The solder on the wires on the springs shattered. We even resoldered it to try to fix it, but it still didn't work. This thing is totally lame. No one should ever buy this piece of junk. I would have given it zero stars if we could.

The 6-in-1 Solar Kit by Vibe essential is a very cheaply made toy. The solar panel did not function when received and the plastic parts do not fit together properly. This is similarly made to your dollar store toy models. The motor functioned with a battery but the solar panel did not put out any current with a multimeter. I do not suggest purchasing this as a project to complete with your kids as I attempted. The low quality will only cause frustration.

My 10 year old son received this as a gift and was sorely disappointed. The pieces are tiny, made of fragile plastic, and are poorly molded - they do not fit together. After he assembled the gear box the wires snapped. We just threw the kit away, as it was not worth the postage to return it.

This product is probably the most cheaply assembled product in the existence of solar toys. The solar panel does not work, the pieces do not fit (To the point I Krazy Glued pieces together), the pieces are so cheap and thin that I broke one of the pieces attempting to build the boat. I not only recommend but I demand you spend your money elsewhere. Instead of buying your kids the Solar Kit, buy them some candy. This product was so frustrating to me that I probably will never recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

This set is garbage, pure and simple. My children were SO excited to receive these and 2 out of 3 came with broken pieces. The third was attempted to be assembled but the pieces do not fit together! What in the world?!?! This needs to be taken off of Amazon and anywhere else is should be and recycled into something useful that will not disappoint 3 kids.

My nearly 10-year-old son couldn't even get off the ground with this one because the diagonal cutter was missing!!! He was also easily frustrated by the difficulty of manipulating the cheap pieces. I can't seem to find any info online about how to contact the company for extra parts.

Ditto to all the above. My son was SO excited to put this together. What a failure of a product.

My 10-year old son received this as a gift. This is his review of the product.

When I tried to assemble this, I discovered that 1, some pieces were missing. 2, the instructions were typed in a very small font, which made them very hard to read, and 3, it was too flimsy to assemble (I accidentally broke a wire). I don't know why anyone would want such a flimsy piece of junk. In my opinion, the company should have made this kit with better, more high quality parts.
