By the 2nd day the battery had died.

If the watch were down there I would have to worry about water damage, as it is water resistant but not water-proof.
C. Kerian
I also love that I can choose to use sound or vibration or both as an alarm signal.

I have a son with sensory processing disorder, which essentially just means that he tends to not notice the small things- like needing to go to the bathroom, or drink and eat, until he's literally famished and about to wet his pants. This watch allows him to set the vibrate alarm for every two hours, just as a reminder to stop what he's doing and pay attention to his body. He used to have a regular alarm watch, but he wouldn't use it because the other kids teased him. Now, he loves his watch. Even his teacher and Occupational Therapist have raved about it.
I can't attest to it's durability yet, but honestly, I don't really care. It works and he likes it, if it breaks we'll just buy more.
Best purchase ever.

This is my second watch from VibraLITE. My first one lasted for years and then died when I wore it swimming. The vibration from this watch is enough to wake me up. I usually use it for travel or as a back up for when I really have to get up.This watch is smaller than the old one I had so it fits my arm better. I like that it has the lock which prevents the alarm from being turned off by accident. For my purposes, there are too many alarms on this watch, it's a pain to have to scroll through all of them when I just want to set one alarm.

Love it!! We needed a sturdy vibrating reminder for every three hours during the day reminding our 9 year old son to catheterize. It works great!! I remember the hours and can verbally remind him, but he can remember now all by himself because the vibration is a gentle reminder of what he needs to do (ie - no more mom nagging!!) It is fairly easy to set and program and easy for him to use.

Product suggestions: 10 minute snooze button to re-remind during times of busy-ness.

Would still recommend this product and it would look sporty on me - 40 year old mama!!

The watch itself is pretty nice. The alarm feature is great. The problem is that it takes forever to set the alarms and whenever the battery is replaced you have to reset it all. Not so fun!!
The battery that came with the watch died in 1 day. I had 8 alarms set for my son to remind him to go to the bathroom. It was great the first day. By the 2nd day the battery had died. I was using the vibrate and the sound feature. I had replaced the battery and reset all of the alarms. Now the sound alarm is not working at all. Ugh!!! I am returning this watch and am pretty disappointed. Not sure what to get next....

This watch is not appropriate for children. The face is made of some kind of plastic that scratches very easily; within 5 days, it was cracked completely through, and inside it looks like a black pen exploded in it. My child needs reminders to use the bathroom, and this is one of few smaller watches with multiple alarms. At $50, this should have been far more durable.

There seems to be many situations where this type of watch comes into play. Kids or adults with special needs for alarms which vibrate, sound or both. Medication reminders or just scheduling. Up to 12 alarms which is great. The bans was a little long for my toddler so we had to sew it up, other than that the band is velcro and pretty functional for a kid (easy to put on and off). It also has a light. The silent alert is great for potty training reminder! This watch was a great price in that watch space, pretty please with purchase.

My son takes medication twice daily. As part of our work to make him more independent, we purchased this watch so he would know exactly when to drop everything and go take his meds. It works great. He likes that the alarm is a silent vibration so no one else knows and I like that it provides him a means for becoming more responsible.

Have been exhausting all options to potty train my 4.5 year old son. Even going through the process of seeing if something is physically wrong because he had no control. Have had the watch for 3 days now, he loves it and so far has only had one accident, and that's because he was at daycare and they were dancing and jumping around so he didn't feel it or hear it go off. Best money we have spent and now maybe my washer and dryer can take a break. But more importantly he's gaining the confidence to "be in control of his body" and he's proud of himself, and we are too!
