I love them~ I was a little worried whether I would get the right size at first but they are a perfect fit!

The color is very true to the picture, and they fit just like the ones in the store.

If I had my choice, it would be the only shoe I wore - I love being barefoot, and I love these shoes.

The Vibrams feel like the same thickness when I am just walking around the house, but I noticed the difference when running.

Have heard good things from people and since I'm barefoot as much as I can be, figured I would enjoy these.

Yes, these shoes do draw attention. I am so happy with "shoes" that allow me to run barefoot on grass and sand without worrying about stickers or glass. At last, very light weight shoes that allow your foot to move! My first pair were a size 38 but it didn't give me enough room for my toes to stretch out when I walked on the carpet, so I sent them back. A size 39 gives my toes all the room they need! I did not follow the advice on the shoe, I started jogging down my asphalt road as soon as I got the replacement pair in the mail. Next day my hips and knees told me to slow down and my calves said, "Yes, at last I'm working some of those other muscles!" They are keepers.

I bought a pair of these last week and have fallen in love. They are so comfortable and such a unique experience. Let me preface with a little bit about the reason I bought these shoes. I am not a runner. I am also not very athletic and don't do much hiking or outdoor activities more strenuous than long walks around town. However, I've always had back pain, always had problems with shoes (every pair hurts, they never break in and usually rip my feet up no matter how careful I am about the sizing) and a few months ago I developed Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot (no clue how I did that as, since I stated, I'm not a runner). My friends raved so much about these shoes and the differences they'd made in their lives I decided to think of this as an investment in my health and give it a try.

After the first time I put these on, I never wanted to take them off. Of course, I had to because, as you can probably guess, there is NO arch support in these shoes so my plantar fasciitis acted up after a few hours. You have to be patient with these, or, more accurately, with your feet. The muscles in my feet are used to getting a free ride with my shoes, so I can't wear these an entire day until I've sufficiently strengthened my foot muscles, which is the reason I bought these. Even so, I've noticed the difference immediately. When wearing my work shoes, I walk more evenly, strike more with the ball of my feet, and experience a lot less pain because of it. I am more than happy to take the time to break in my feet because these shoes really ARE amazing. I look forward to being able to wear these for full days at a time and plan on buying a pair of black sprints next.

Wonderful for getting up and down my very steep avocado grove. I get easy toe holds impossible with shoes. And the shoes mold the ground feeling like a wonderful foot massage. Seems to be helping my bum knee and sciatica too. But the sizing is small. I measured out as a 39, but they were too tight. I managed to stretch the toes with solvent. I got a 40 which is just right without toe socks. But my next will be 41 so I can use toe socks.

It is now October and I've been meaning to add to my Vibram review. My 15 year old bunions are disappearing and one is about gone. And I'm an old lady.

My title might seem a bit melodramatic, but if you have my feet (and attached legs) you would be having a "Dr Strangelove"walk-gasm of your own.

I have spastic legs, otherwise known as Cerebral Palsy. "Normal" shoes suck on my feet, since the over coushioned footbed constantly tries forcing my foot into a gait which does NOT work at all for my feet. Amd traditional sneakers were just too big, too heavy, too clumsy, and every pair of every brand was uncomfortable after 3 weeks.
I saw the KSO's and took a big gamble (they're not cheap, after all). I also bought 4 pairs of the Injinji socks.

    WOW
    HOLY F'IN WOW
    (commence Hallelujah chorus)

These shoes feel so good! My feet can follow their own natural stride and gait pattern. Sweet mama if I could wear these every day I'd buy FIVE pairs, no matter the cost AND I CAN RUN! ACTUALLY RUN!
Zowie! I have new feet! Lookout road, here I come!

I must admit, I was a little hesitant to by these shoes at first (I have the SKO model for women). But curiosity won the day! I had seen people at the track near were I live wearing them, and each person whom I spoke to sang these shoes praises like they were some sort of miracle-footwear of the gods or something. I thought they looked cool, but was worried that there wouldn't be enough support or that I would feel too much of the uneven terrain through the soles. Finally, I went to my local outdoors store (Any Mountain, and REI has them too) to try them on. I was SOLD SOLD SOLD the minute I put them on!!!!! Sooooo incredibly comfortable and amazing support. I was the most shocked by how much support there was in such a lightweight shoe. Plenty of cushioning against the terrain, while allowing you to really feel the surface you are walking on. Amazingly solid underfoot, and amazing traction on the SKO model, which you really can't see in the photos - they have these micro-traction things that make them treally grip both very smooth surfaces as well as rough. I enjoy just walking down the sidewalk with them on - much more comfortable even then wearing Birkenstocks! And oh my goodness so many people want to come up and talk to you about them! Definitely a great conversation-piece.
A few words of caution: I HIGHLY recommend going to try these on IN PERSON from an authorized dealer, even if you come back online to buy them. They are an absolute BEAR to learn to take on and off at first - definitely took a bit of finesse and coaching from the retail clerk. Also sizing is tricky, and they HAVE to be the perfect fit or else they don't feel right at all. I know someone who's 2nd toe (the one next to the big toe) is much longer than the big toe--which made wearing these impossible.
