Arrived on schedule and was very easy to assemble, took about 15 minutes tops. Everyone is enchanted with the cheekiness of the red tractor seat and blazing chrome. We thought it might be too small a seat, but over the holiday one of our largest family members spent an afternoon in it...and he drives a tractor all week! Guess he was right at home. A good buy, we may purchase a couple more.

I work a ton of hours in a home studio doing musical composition and editing with a sizable desk and of course keyboard stands. After dealing with craptastic office chairs for years that never quite went up high enough I discovered this after a co-worker said I should search for a drafting stool instead of an office chair. It stands 1ft 9in but this chair goes up about 2ft 5in. It is made with strong quality parts (mostly metal) and is comfortable enough to work long hours in. I purchased the red one that looks like a candy apple paint job off an old hot rod (very stylish).

If you have an artist/musician friend this would be the best gift you could give for the money.

I love the almost "candy-apple-red" color, and the shiny chrome is great. The chair was so easy to assemble that I kept wondering if I was missing something. I'm setting up a standing work area, so I only needed an adjustable stool for when I am drawing, or when I get tired of standing at the computer. It arrived in perfect condition and seems quite stable and solid. However - I am only 160 lbs with a bony butt. This wasn't designed, nor is it intended for, replacing a comfy office chair or holding up extreme weight for long periods of time. It is a very pretty, functional, and affordable stool. So it meets my needs 100%. My only complaint? The chair was so well packaged that it literally took me longer to unpack it than it did to assemble it. A minor issue, but still a bit of a pain. Bubble wrap secured with invisible tape is very hard to remove and I still ended up with pieces of plastic wedged in underneath where you can't see it.

I spent weeks looking for the perfect chair for my sewing room. I needed something to use while I worked on my computer or sat at my cutting table. This chair seemed like a great deal. OK, what really sold me was the red glitter. GLiTTER! I'd like to say function won out over form but that wouldn't be the truth. I wanted a pretty chair and I definitely got one. Luckily it's also pretty good in the chair department. The height is perfect for my elevated cutting table and it rotates smoothly. Assembly was a snap. As another reviewer pointed out it takes longer to remove the chair from its (very secure) packaging. That said, it's really not the chair to sit in all day: There's no cushioning and my ample bits only provide so much cushioning, but it suits my needs as a task chair. And the red glitter looks fabulous against the aqua walls in my sewing room.

I bought this stool for my studio. It is a good value, easy to put together, made of quality materials, good looking, easy to clean and comfortable. I love it. It would be great as a stool for a bar or whatever. My only suggestion would be to include wheels.
