Book Description

If you suffer from acne you know how it can impede your life. It can shake your confidence and even lead to hopelessness and depression.

Toni Ann Johnson suffered with adult acne for years, and continued to suffer even while under the care of physicians who prescribed the requisite medications: antibiotics, Accutane and Retin A. Finally, she sought ways to control acne that were effective, affordable, and salutary for the body, rather than deleterious. After years of researching what worked and what didn't, she found a path that led to being acne free.

Two types of bacteria contribute to acne: Propionibacterium Acnes and Staphylococcus Aures. These are found not only on the surface of the skin, but also within the intestines. When you take antibiotics, you kill the bacteria and your skin clears up. But antibiotics are not only expensive, they disrupt healthy intestinal flora, which can lead to other problems. The book contains information on effective, inexpensive, and healthful ways to control bacteria. Oily skin and fluctuating hormone levels do not make acne inevitable. You will learn how to achieve clear skin despite overactive oil glands.

VIBRANT and CLEAR is a comprehensive, yet fun to read, and easy to follow guide that will empower readers in their ability to achieve and maintain healthy, glowing skin.

Before spending anymore money on expensive skin care products, please take a look through Vibrant and Clear. You will appreciate how relatable her personal struggles with acne were, and her solutions are proving better than any other method that I've ever used. And it's all natural. Excellent book with excellent research to assist you in doing your own.

4.0 out of 5 stars A TON of good information November 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book provided simple, yet effective tips on clearing up acne prone skin. I like that she uses nature's products which both my daughter and myself can use. Apple cider vinegar is now a staple in my pantry and who knew a little baking soda added to my facial cleanser could go such a long way.

Feeling great about yourself is a luxury every person should have. In VIBRANT AND CLEAR, Toni Ann provides loads of practical and cost-efficient tips for anyone who's ever been dogged by "bad" skin -- whether for a season or what seems like a lifetime. Both teenagers and adults will benefit from her advice. I highly recommend.
