Finding the lemonade fast in a powder has been great! I was doing the fresh lemons thing, buying the grade B maple syrup and making my own from scratch. It took time and was messy. So I love this powder! Fast, easy. I have one-quart Rubbermade bottles that I fill with water, put four scoops of powder and shake. I drink it all day long and am never hungry. One reviewer said that it made him/her feel bad. The first two days you will feel bad because your body is adjusting to it, and a lot of water retention and toxins are released. If you can get past those two days you can do this. I've done the fast six to seven times (twice a year) for up to 30 days at a time. And when it comes to food I don't have very good control! Each time I lose one pound every day. That is a great incentive!

You DO have to psych yourself up to do this. Your mind wants to eat! Especially when you are watching TV and seeing the food advertisements! But just keep sipping throughout the day and you are never physically hungry! It's really all mental. The first couple days I even keep the bottle by the bed at night and sip if I wake up and feel either bad or hungry. After a few days I don't have to do that anymore. Even while doing the fast I often make dinner for my husband--and I am fine! I carry the bottle to work, and just sip whenever I feel a hunger pain. The hunger goes right away. I started 2010 on new year's day, and it's now the 15th and I have lost 13 pounds. Once you start eating again you have to stay at small portions, otherwise the weight will slowly add back on.

This cleanse has been around for many years, and has been helpful for many people. I expect I'll be doing this for many years.

After several unsuccessful attempts to make my own version of the "lemonade diet", I decided to purchase this item for its sheer convenience. Gladly, I was not disappointed. It tastes terrific, and for the first time in a long time, I was actually looking forward to having my diet drink every day. I also purchased the small 8 oz. shaker, added the water first to make sure I had the full 8 oz. amount, and then added the powder, attached the lid, shook it up, and I was good to go. Fabulous product. Very convenient. Tastes great.

Not as messy as the original receipe but the next best thing. This is not just a regular fast if the person is really determined to stick this they may lose up to 20 lbs in 17 days as I did (that is with exercise also).

I agree with the sentiments of the other reviewers here. I also disagree with the reviewer who found it too spicy. I think it's great.

I did the MC a month ago for ten days and found it such a pain squeezing lemons, and fumbling with syrup and pepper every 2 hours. I confess I was lazy with it and only made it in 8 oz bottles at a time. This stuff is a bit spicier then I made mine, but if you just can't stand mixing up all that stuff and making a mess then its perfect. Would have 5 stars, but it's a bit too spicy.

It tastes like spicy Tang orange juice. It is not that spicy, just a hint of it. This is my 2nd order. It's good for travel, just add water. I use a shaker with the metal ball. I always visit my mother on weekends so this is convenient versus squeezing lemon. The bad thing is that it is expensive & makes you "Extremely" hungry. I first bought the 48 servings and depending on how often you drink it, like 6x a day will last for 9 days. This 24 servings will last 3-4 Days. So I'm going to do the old fashioned way at home, and this for travel or quick fix. I discovered that you can buy the Real Lemon Juice vs squeezing the fruit (time consuming if you are making galons) but even if with just one glass, who wants the mess? The homemade version requires you consume atleast 100 ounces, which is 10 servings of 10 oz. This one is 8 0z 6-8x a day that's half of the homemade version and imagine if you took 100 oz with this powder is Expensive! About $85 in 10 days plus shipping! Well good luck to you.
