I bought this device as a way to avoid waking my husband when I need to be up earlier than he is. I was a little hesitant since this is a keychain sized item, rather than one of the full size silent alarms. I was pleasantly surprised that it works quite well! Using the functions is easy even without the included instructions, and I really like that the buttons are set on the side of the unit. I can place it under my pillow without worrying about accidentally shutting it off. I think this unit will work well for anyone, especially those wanting the portability. May be a bit small for really heavy sleepers......I'm not one, so can't say for sure. I just know I'm happy with mine!

Wish it were a little better October 10, 2008
First let me say that this item is exactly what I need: a timer that vibrates to remind me to take medicine each hour. And since it is quiet I can wear it around my neck in movie theaters, lectures, etc. without disturbing anyone. However, it could be a little better quality. I wear it on a necklace. Soon after I got it the battery compartment came open while I was driving and spilled out a battery as I got out of the car. Luckily I retrieved the battery. This could easily happen if used as a key chain. The battery compartment is not very tightly closed. On the topic of batteries, even though this item is inexpensive, the first set of batteries lasted me only one month, and Radio Shack charges close to $11 for the pair. I hope my second set (bought this week) lasts longer. And setting the item is more confusing than most electronics. If I accidently bump a button while I'm out, the timer, alarm, and clock all go haywire, and I have to come home to read instructions to fix it. The buttons are not intuitive in any way. I'll use this timer for now. But if something better came along, I would probably switch.

Broke right away March 20, 2008

I used this timer for ADHD and found it a bit unintuitive. I put it on my keyring in my pocket and the button got pushed accidentally sometimes. It broke within a week. Sometimes the vibration shut off and others it rang in the middle of the night.

bad quality/great features
We bought this for our staff to do an exercise and they worked great for a little while. One drop, though, and they would not work any more. Read more

Great!
Love the vibrating timer. And, believe it or not, my dog ate the instructions and withing one day of calling the company, they emailed me new instructions! Wow! Thanks again!

Relatively Poor
I bought this a year ago for a meditation timer. I love the size, and when it works, it's perfect. However, it seems to go through the batteries quickly, and it requires two which... Read more

Eats batteries
The product works ok when the batteries are fresh, but the batteries ran down in days, where I was expecting months. Not recommended.

Broke in under a year
I was initially OK with this product for the several months while it worked. As others have mentioned, the interface is far from intuitive but I figured it out and was OK with it. Read more

Vibrating alarm clock
Small and handy. Convenient when you don't want to wake another but the vibration can be too jolting.

Excellent on the hour reminder
This little thing is great. I set the timer for 1 hour and it vibrates to remind me to get up and take a 2 minute walk to the water cooler. Read more
