I got this for my mom quite a while ago because it promised to be easy. My mom does not like anything that you really have to "figure out" so I was a little leary about sending it to her without me figuring it out first and then sending it to her (I live in Seattle and she lives in St. Joseph, Missouri). But I was pleasantly surprised that when she received it, she figured it out herself. This has been so nice for her to have, she had been having a lot of trouble remembering to take her afternoon and evening pills but now, with this vibrating pill box, she has hardly missed a dosage. I gave it five stars because it was easy for her to set up by herself, it's been constant and has had no problems. It also takes a lot of worry off my shoulders that she has not been taking the medicine the way she should, so I know if she has this with her that she will take it 98% of the time. Of course she takes so many pills that they would not fit in the pill compartment but she just keeps her big pill dispenser with it all the times. It's great to have, especially for the senior in your life that might be having some memory problems OR even the extremely busy person that needs to take an afternoon or evening pill and keeps forgetting - I plan to order one for myself just for that reason.

Just LOVE THIS - It's worth every penny! My 88 year-old mom "needed help" remembering when to take her meds, and this simplifies it SO MUCH! It was pretty much self-explanatory right out of the box, and super-easy to set. We use it with 4 alarms a day. We don't store her pills in it, so I don't know how that feature works. The alarm is loud enough to wake her up when she's napping, and vibrates quite strongly, to alert those who can't hear at all. If this broke, I'd instantly order another!

This pill box was very easy to set, clear and easy to understand.
The pill pocket covers are hard to open, especially for a Parkinson's patient.
The vibration/alarm is loud enough, but my loved one often gets confused when he hears this alarm (is it the stove, the alarm clock, the coffee pot...etc). I think I need to go back to the pill box with the voice.
