Now if you have bought and used/broke the V-moda Vibe or Vibe II then I am surprised you are even reading this and/or considering buying these. But the truth is, the Vibrato's are a complete 180. I just broke my third pair of vibes about two weeks ago when I finally decided to go with the more expensive kind, hoping that they would be more sturdy. I don't regret it at all. The sound is crisp and it is easy to hear every instrument in any song that you play. They are indeed sturdy with the all metal parts, kevlar cord, 24k headphone jack. Even so, because of my prior experience I still fear that they will break; so I bought another pair of Vibe's for whenever I work out. The difference is incredible; I hate using the vibes now just because these sound so much better.

I absolutely love the sound and quality of the V-Moda Vibrato earphones.

#1 - it's a quality product. There's nothing fragile about this earphone. It's made of Zinc alloy metal and Kevlar® reinforced fabric cables. The stereo plug is 24k gold-plated. Unlike other earphones I've used, I don't have to baby this one to keep it working. These are the sturdiest earphones I've seen.

#2 - the sound quality is awesome! The bass is truly BASS; the strings and other instruments seem to be playing right in the room with me; the voices are clear and distinct. I can hear every note without noise. Overall, the experience feels like being right there in a concert hall. It's truly amazing! I can't emphasize the exceptional sound quality of this product enough.

The Vibrato comes with four sizes of silicone ear tips, as well as a set of ear hooks that fit over your ears for additional safety. I don't like the ear hooks. They're awkward, hard to keep on my ear and the earphone cables don't stay attached very well. Nice idea, but not to my liking. I found a set of ear tips that are comfortable and stay in without the hooks, so I'm happy without the hooks.

The in-line remote and hands-free microphone work well and are easy to use. You can adjust the volume, control the playback of your music and video, or record voice memos and answer calls from your iPhone 4.

The device is compatible with iPhone 4, iPad, iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook or MacBook Pro and can be used for iChat, Skype, VoIP, and other audio recording applications.

Over the years I've had many earphones and I have not been really too happy with any of them due often to little details that failed in some department or another. When I got these earphones, however, I knew that I had probably found the perfect ones. Now I am very happy with them at work and home. You won't get a better sound quality from any other earphone out there unless they looked ugly as fk, or had some design detail that would hurt your ears. These v-moda vibrato earphones don't sacrifice anything. Good looking and excellent sound experience, and comfortableness. These have it all. The controls and voice call integration with the iPhone 3GS & iPhone 4 is flawless. Ever since I got these I've been discovering new layers of sound from my old music that I've never heard before. It's amazing. So far I've had them several months and they haven't torn on me just yet, even with my kind of job where they've really been taking a beating. The cord on these is Kevlar reinforced so that probably helps.
Bottom-line: if you are looking for an excellent sound experience with perfect bass, midrange, and highs, but at the same time having them look stylish and sexy, you don't have to compromise. Get these. Not one flaw if you ask me.
