If you are buying a Sonic Boom Alarm Clock and are looking at getting this cord, you might want to wait until after you get the alarm clock home. The cord that comes with the clock is around 3 or 4 feet long, so if the clock is near or next to your bed, you will not need this extension cord.

If you are planning on having the clock across the room and still want the vibrations to wake you up, then Yes I would say that you need this cord.

I actually didn't need the extension cord and sent it back without any hassles.

This extension cord allows me to have my sonic bomb alarm clock half way across the room so I have to get up out of bed to turn it off but can still use the vibrator. The extension cord is long enough for me to run it along the wall of my room so that I do not have to worry about tripping on it. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a sonic boom alarm clock.

Bought this extension cord at the same time as the sonic boom alarm clock in order to be sure teenage son must actually get out of bed and go across the room in order to shut off the alarm. The alarm itself is wonderful however the combination of the two is a MUST!! What use is the alarm if the person using it should turn it off and then try to get a few more winks?

I bought one of these for my Sonic Boom alarm clock. It worked fine for many months, then there were a few days when my alarm went off, but the bed shaker didn't. I never set my alarm with sound, because I don't want to wake the rest of my house up, so I depend on the shaker to wake me up on time. I finally found out the culprit was my backpack, which had fallen onto the extension cord. This extension cord is not durable at all! I ended up buying both a new alarm clock and cord in the same models, because I was not sure which was the problem. So buyer beware: make sure nothing falls onto this cord and that no one steps on it, because it's very touchy and temperamental.

There's not much to say about the extension cord....The item works great, no problems so far.

Because of this cord, for the first time in my life, I can place my vibrating alarm clock in a position that REQUIRES me to get out of bed. Fabulous!

Fits Perfectly on my Sonic Boom Alarm Clock and allows me to move to to different areas in the bedroom.

It lets me put the clock way across the room so I have to get up when the clock goes off.

I ordered this cord, and it didn't work. I am not sure if it was incompatible with my clock or just a defective product.

We purchased the Extension Cord for the Vibrator Alarm Clock, because the alarm clock may be used in a location further from the plug-in at this time. We purchased both items for a young person who has a hearing disability, and are going to tell other people of all ages who have this disability.
