5.0 out of 5 stars Step by step analysis of basic stroke errors with photos, March 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Vic Braden's Quick Fixes: Expert Cures for Common Tennis Problems (Paperback)
A gem of a book, almost a tennis textbook of the basic stroke errors and how to fix them. It's a troubleshooters guide that can sit on your bookshelf or you can read and re-read to prevent basic errors. The photo illustrations are great-taken from Braden's extensive video collections. I took a yellow marker to this book and highlighted the relevant tips to burn them in my brain. I need another one because I gave mine to a friend who was netting her volleys. Invaluable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Preoblem-Solving Tips on Technique, October 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Vic Braden's Quick Fixes: Expert Cures for Common Tennis Problems (Paperback)
This book is well suited for the beginner through advanced intermediate level player. It provides very useful tips on problems with the mechanics of one's stroked and backs them up with facts. Mr Braden has amassed years of useful information to share and this book is a good starting point. Interested readers might also want to consider Braden's "Tennis 2000" as complementary reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tennis Technique, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Vic Braden's Quick Fixes: Expert Cures for Common Tennis Problems (Paperback)
Vic Braden is a brilliant man who has spent countless hours studying tennis stroke technique and the biomechanics involved. Vic has probably forgotten more about tennis than most tennis experts even know about tennis.

I highly recommend this book to both tennis instructors, as long as you can admit that you don't know all the facts behind tennis technique, as well as any potential tennis player from the beginner to the advanced level. I would even recommend this to any pro on the tennis tour, but who am I to make such a recommendation?

In this simple book, Vic Braden addresses the majority of problems tennis players come across and lists the cures to each problem. He addresses some of the many common errors that are taught in tennis instruction across America. There's not alot of fluff to this book that you will see on many of the highly advertised books of today. It's just the facts, plain and simple.

So if you just want to know how to hit the ball properly or how to teach someone to do it, this is a must in your tennis library.
