If you don't like using a lighter stick, these sticks just might change your mind. There is something about these sticks I enjoy. Maybe it's the round tips that make playing these sticks unique but they feel good. Less attack than your average stick, best for jazzier or softer songs. Another must have for a diverse drummer.

My Favorite Sticks,

I've tried a lot of sticks, but none I like as well as these for playing my electronic kit. They're light and slender sticks, so probably not good for very heavy hitters, but they are very nice when it comes to playing mesh drum heads. They're consistent and I find that I'm more comfortable holding them, so I play better. The finish feels good, the color looks cool, and they're surprisingly long lasting. Overall great sticks and well worth trying.

I played with these sticks a while back at a jam session with a couple of buds and the sticks were just lying around so I tried them out. That day, the sticks were completely bitten up and shredded and I still loved the weight and feel of them in my hand. If you are thinking of grabbing a pair of sticks that provide a very unique feel and balance while playing both harder and softer styles of music then the Steve Gadd sticks are for you. Please note that these sticks are wood tipped, and the other model with plastic tips, although probably fine, I have not played with. If I were you then I would definitely buy the wooden tips over the plastic because of the better initial cymbal sound that they create.
