Book Description

Imagine having to share your body with an invading time traveller.
Dr. Tobias Andrews, guardian of the magic, assists each trapped spirit—
but not until every story’s happy ending is assured.

In She’s Me, chubby, shy Lucy McGillicuddy who lives in a small English village in 1963 is forced to share herself with 2006 top model Jenna McBride. This experience teaches them both valuable lessons that enable them to finally accept true love.

In He’s Her, schoolteacher Carrie Temple has to make space for Vegas casino owner Rhett Parks, whose spirit invades her heart as well as her mind, and won’t leave. At first she desperately wants him to get out, but soon she can’t bear for them to be apart.

In We’re One, Vegas nightclub star Crystal Davis wants nothing to do with men until she’s seduced by Ashley Parks while they flee from a killer. Ashley traps her spirit inside of him to keep her safe, but she soon convinces him to trust her—it’s his safety they need to worry about.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Vicarage Bench January 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
OK folks, this is not a deep set of books. But so delightful. The first book is like most series a set up for what is to come. By the end of the second you get what the first was all about. True Love. The third is just damn good. Good overcomes evil, for a bit I was upset and then good over comes evil again. The books give us a look into what and how good does win after all. They will put a smile on your face and at times a laugh out loud. My favorite character's were in the third book, you got to love it when a man really gets his women and lets her protect him too! I am not a time travel kind of reader but have you ever thought of what you could change if you went back to a time long ago. And YET, we know we do not get, do over's. There is not a book I will not pick up by Mimi I love her writing. Long after reading one you still think on them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious December 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I have absolutely loved every one of the Vicarage Bench stories! With mystery, suspense, conflict, humor, and romance flowing artfully together, they make a fun read. Of course, what better way to develop compassion and understanding in each other than to "walk a mile in their shoes"? Ms. Barbour is far from the typical slow and boring romance writer!

5.0 out of 5 stars what a treat! February 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
These three stores were absolutely delightful. While you wander through the first book wondering, the second one comes as a natural sequel with a twist. The third is fun with a kick. A lovely happy read, thank you Mimi Barbour!

1.0 out of 5 stars explicit sex February 22, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I like the premise of these books, and found the first one engaging enough to read through most of it, despite a weak writing style that frequently made use of passive voice and a tendency to "tell" rather than "show." The extremely rapid conversion of the first heroine from nasty and selfish to considerate and patient stretched my credulity, but the way the author solved the time travel problem showed some real creativity. I personally don't want to read explicit sexual details, so when the book veered in that direction I deleted it from my kindle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting March 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
But there isn't much development or explanation in the story line, especially between the two people stuck in one body. It's like they're pissed about the turn of events, then on the next page they're best friends, or lovers. Not much of an in between. Other than that I definitely enjoyed the books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Coverage bench anthology
Okay stories. Not really my type of storyline. Also prefer novel length reading. Very easy, casual read. Interesting characters overall.

1.0 out of 5 stars Suspicious Seating
Be careful sitting down here. These stories were more "out-there" for me. The writing is a little weak. I could only finish 2 of the stories.
