Editorial Reviews

Reef the Lost Cauze has been building a serious reputation as one of the most talented MCs not only out of Philly, but in the entire hip hop scene. Arguably the most commanding voice in Army of the Pharoahs, Reef drops his long-awaited sophomore solo album. Spearheaded by the Marco-Polo laced lead single "I Wonder," "A Vicious Cycle" showcases a hungry emcee continuing his ascension above the flooded pool of hip hop artists.

This is the best album of 2009 so far. The album isn't too short and isn't too long. The beats keep your head knocking and have considerable replay value. I only really skip over a couple of tracks. A solid release, albums should be modeled after this one.
