Castor has reluctantly returned to exorcism after the case of the Bonnington Archive ghost convinced him that he really can do some good with his abilities ('good', of course, being a relative term when dealing with the undead). But his friend, Rafi, is still possessed; the succubus, Ajulutsikael (Juliet to her friends), still technically has a contract on him; and he's still - let's not beat around the bush - dirt poor. Doing some consulting for the local constabulary helps pay the bills, but Castor needs a big, private job to really fill the hole in his overdraft. That's what he needs. What he gets, good fortune and Castor not being on speaking terms, is a seemingly insignificant 'missing ghost' case that inexorably drags himself and his loved ones into the middle of a horrific plot to raise one of Hell's fiercest demons. About the Author
Mike Carey is the acclaimed writer of Lucifer and Hellblazer (now filmed as Constantine). He has recently completed a comics adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, and is the current writer on Marvel's X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four. He has also written the screenplay for a movie, Frost Flowers, which is soon to be produced by Hadaly Films and Bluestar Pictures.

'Victims' Another shocker from Shaun Hutson,

As you would come to expect if you are a Shauan Hutson fan his books are full of suprises and full on action. This one doesn't disapoint. It is based around a special effects man Frank miller who is blinded in one eye and given the eye of a murder in a transplant. This allows Miller to see murder victims before they are killed.A manicacal killer is on the loose but the police won't listen to him. When Miller finds out that he is going to be murdered he tries to stop the carnage before he becomes part of it. This sets up a great story with Shaun Hustans discriptions of the murders as gripping and thrilling as always. I own the book and loved it, it is not one of shaun hutsons best works but i still found it very hard to put down and was gripped by the whole book. If you are a Shaun Hutson fan the i would recomed this too you, if you are not then this would be a great introduction to his work.

This was the first Shaun Hutson book I read, many years ago. It is very well read and keeps you guessing throughout. Shaun Hutson has the amazing ability of keeping the reader interested from beginning to end.A must for all Hutson fans.
