5.0 out of 5 stars They work!
I have had a mouse problem this year, like no other. Caught about 8 mice with the old fashioned snap traps. It has been about 3 weeks since anything got snapped, yet I kept seeing mice running around my house. I put snap traps all over the house with no luck.

2.0 out of 5 stars Zap Zappy
The Pros-

It kills mice and you dont have to touch them.

The Cons-

It zaps the mouse near the door, blocking any other mice from getting inside where the other zap area is. It claims to kill multiple mice, but that cant happen if they cant get in.

The dead mouse indicator light stopped working after the 1st kill, so I must check...

Finally two nights ago I decided to invest in this product. Almost immediately had a mouse enter and...zap! He/she was dead just like that. Got another one this morning. I don't know about the longevity of this product yet, but so far I am quite impressed.

As for this being a humane kill. I don't know, nor do I care. A dead mouse is the best kind of mouse, in my world.

4.0 out of 5 stars rotten mice, August 19, 2011

This trap does work. I have an 8 acre farm and there is no shortage of scum bag rodents. The first few days all the trap caught was ants eating the peanut butter. I stayed persistent and pre-sprayed around the area where i was going to place the trap with Raid. The next four days in a row, I had a mouse killed in the trap every day.

So far It whacked about 5 stinkers. It's better than sticky traps because they trap the good animal friends(Lizards

and small snakes) who are valuable to keep the insects and other mice populations down.

The Pros-

It kills mice and you dont have to touch them.

The Cons-

It zaps the mouse near the door, blocking any other mice from getting inside where the other zap area is. It claims to kill multiple mice, but that cant happen if they cant get in.

The dead mouse indicator light stopped working after the 1st kill, so I must check the trap daily or get stuck with a stinky dead mouse in there.

I smeared a pea sized amount of peanut butter on the opening and 1st wall inside, that seemed to increase the frequecy of zap zappies. None of the mice reached the inside main bait area.

I've had problems in my RV with mice and finally found a way to get rid of them. I tried the mechanical 'snap' type traps and they often tripped without trapping and sometimes only wounded the mouse (not a good thing). The electronic trap doesn't miss and kills instantly. It works as advertised. I highly recommend this trap.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Better Mousetrap?, July 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Victor M250Pro Professional Electronic Mouse Trap (Lawn & Patio)
I unpacked the M250 Pro and the first night I caught the first mouse. The light flashed to let me know that indeed it worked. I went to empty the trap and was shaking it when it slipped and the cover broke off. There are two very small and fragile plastic tips that hold the top on and now both were broken. I put the cover back on and when the second mouse was caught the indicator light did not flash to let me know that the trap was full. The product says that it will capture more than one mouse at a time and I dont see how that is possible since both mice were never inside the trap far enough to let a second mouse in when termination occured. Other than that it worked as promised.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless unless you have tiny famished mice, April 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Victor M250Pro Professional Electronic Mouse Trap (Lawn & Patio)
The title pretty much sums it up. Unless your mice are small and have NO other food sources, they will probably not enter this trap. A couple of disclaimers: First, my mice had gotten fattened up stealing the bait from Victor snap traps. Second the Victor Professional Electronic mouse trap was placed in service at the same time as an AgriZap Rat Zapper Ultra IR.

The trap is simply too small! Although a mouse could theoretically enter the trap to get the bait, it would need to be really desperate to do so. For all but very small mice, Victor's claim of three kills on one setting is laughable. I would be hard pressed to squeeze three of my mice into the trap, never mind them entering on their own.

Maybe if I did not have the Rat Zapper Ultra, the Victor would have been more successful. I doubt it. In the same attic with the same bait, the Rat Zapper killed all my mice. The Victor did not kill a single one.

Unless your mice are very small and very hungry, you would probably be better served spending a few more dollars for the Rat Zapper.

5.0 out of 5 stars kills them cleanly, victor electronic mouse trap, February 1, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Victor M250Pro Professional Electronic Mouse Trap (Lawn & Patio)
I have purchased two of the victor electronic mouse traps and love them, they kill the mice cleanly and quitely. It gives you a visual indicator when it has killed a mouse. I will never go back to the old snap trap again. These are safe, cats can't set them off, kids fingers can't get to them and anyone can set these traps, with just a flip of the switch. To dispose of the dead mice you do not even have to touch the mice, just open the lid and dump out. If thinking about buying one go ahead and buy one you won't regret it

2.0 out of 5 stars NO KILLS, January 29, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Victor M250Pro Professional Electronic Mouse Trap (Lawn & Patio)
We have had this product in our home for over a month with NO KILLS. When the product came (I bought two), the packaging didn't seem sealed. I was so excited from the reviews I ignored my better instincts and baited the trap. I flipped the on switch, the light came on, the product buzzed, and the light went off. Nothing with the traps said how one should know that it is armed - only that a flashing light would indicate a kill up to 7 days. My light is off.....I try again. Same thing. I think that maybe the flashing light will come on with a kill. Last night, I heard a mouse in an area in my home. I freshly baited the trap and moved it to the area. This morning there is no flashing light, no bait, and no dead mouse. I've been an avid Amazon customer but now wonder if they sent me returned defective traps. Not a happy customer.Victor M250Pro Professional Electronic Mouse Trap
