![]() Just plug the unit into a regular wall outlet, and you're done. |
![]() The high-frequency ultrasound prompts rats to leave without causing them harm. |
Safe for You and Your Pets
The ultrasonic sound waves are completely inaudible to people, dogs, cats, birds, and fish (PestChaser should not be used around pet rodents). Since you won't hear anything, a red LED light behind the speaker grill lets you know that the PestChaser is working properly. PestChaser is kinder than traps and safer than poison, and by eliminating the need to empty traps, it minimizes human contact with disease-bearing rodents.
One Unit Covers an Average Room
This wall unit is ideal for average-sized rooms, including kitchens, garages, attics, and basements. A single PestChaser unit can easily cover a double car garage of 400 square feet, or a space as large as 1000 square feet that is free of obstructions. Ultrasonic sound cannot go around corners or penetrate hard surfaces like furniture, cabinets, walls, or ceilings. You will need one PestChaser unit for each room where you have a rodent problem.
Inexpensive and Long-Lasting
The PestChaser draws only 2 watts--it costs less than 20 cents per month to operate on a 24-hour basis, so you don't have to worry about keeping it plugged in at all times. The estimated service life of each unit is 5 to 7 years, and many PestChasers are still working after 10 or more years. Throughout that time, no adjustment or service is ever required.
What's in the Box

I bought this item out of sheer desparation. After baiting this mouse with poison and peanut butter traps for approximately one month to no avail. I would sit up at night listening to this rodent chewing at my walls just waiting for it to eat its way out! CREEPY!!! I bought 2 packs of the Vicks electronic pest repellers (4 devices total) and within 2 weeks, no more chewing/scratching noises. Thank God----my rodent is gone. I know that the package says that the sound wave do not penetrate the walls, but I believe that they do because my little mouse friend is GONE! I would definitely recommend this product. To order, go through [...] in the Home and garden section.

I bought 4 of the Victor® Kill & Seal Hygienic Mouse Traps, along with the Victor® Sonic Mini PestChaser® Ultrasonic Rodent Repellent Both of them absolutely useless. I set up 4 traps and put 2 of the ultrasonics in diffrent parts of my kitchen. I wake up to find the food eaten out of ALL the traps. One was set right next to the ultrasonic repellent,(just to see what would happen). They probably sat under it and had a peanut butter party. laughing the whole time!

Pleasantly surprised - these do really work. We are in an old wooden frame house built in 1842 that has lots of wet wood and holes in the walls, which became overrun with mice during/after Hurricane Irene! Our weather since then has remained rainy and wet and humid which seemed to drive the wildlife-vermin indoors even more.Even worse, these mice showed no fear of me OR my two good mouser-cats (!) and were flagrantly running around on top of and inside and underneath my stove and even running into the small bedroom where we have our "cat gymnasium area" to gnaw thru cardboard & styrofoam,(?) and they left their horrid little disease pellets everywhere. I was sure they were also in the walls, as i could hear them in there, scritching & squealing around. Talk about hard to sleep! I did use a couple of Victor "no-touch, quick-kill" sanitary traps to get rid of a few, but there were so many more showing up, I was getting worried. We also had an indoor-explosion of insect life at that time - caterpillars, carpet beetles, spider beetles and biting black flies!! Then, two big raccoons were trying to get in our windows at night, and my cats were doing their best to fend them off, it was so crazy! I think we may have also had fleas from the mice. I got those under control with learned application of diatomaceous earth, eucalyptus & peppermint oil mists, and steam cleaning/washing everything down afterwards, but the carpet beetles were still everywhere - I'm pretty sure they were here before I moved into this apt/building 13 years ago.) Even tho I know the Sonic repellers claimed to repel insects too, I am a diehard skeptic and really only expected that they would work on the rodents. So, imagine my surprise when I realize about 2 weeks in, that the carpet beetles have disappeared (!!!) as have the 'pillars and spider beetles, and we've had no sign of fleas or bites from anything, flying or otherwise. Mouse-wise, I had what sounded like one lone visitor the other night near the stove, who seemed to leave as soon as they arrived, and no other activity in the weeks since I plugged in the units. Pretty good considering I still cant get back behind the stove to try and stuff the hole they must have been coming thru. (the GAS stove has to be dismantled & taken out entirely in order to get to it ARGH) so this really saved us while we wait till we are able to do that. I should mention I am using these Victor sonic repellers in combination with 3 RIDDEX Sonic repellers that also use the wiring in the walls to conduct pulses. Thank goodness these were all so affordable, too. THANK YOU!
