This review is from: Victor V718 Metal Valve Extensions, Set Of 4, 1-1/4" Long Chrome Plated Brass, 60 PSI Maximum (Misc.)
Made out of metal with female thread on one side and male thread on the other side. Screwed on existing tire valve stem with no leaks. Bought it to extend valve stem through wheel cover, length turns out to be slightly too long but other than that it works fine.
