Even though I recieved this CD after Christmas, I've enjoyed the music more than most of my recent purchases. There are only a couple of selections that would be considered Christmas carols, but even those, along with the others, are some of the loveliest music you could hope to find. Relaxing and uplifting at the same time. I'll be playing this all year round.

While not all of the music presented on this CD is what one would consider "traditional" Christmas fare, I happen to find this a refreshing mix of recognized Christmas favorites tossed in with a wonderful rendition of great classical favorites. This pairing makes for a delightful classical Christmas CD which is both contemplative yet stirring. It happens to be the favorite Holiday CD in my collection. In fact, when Christmas is over, I hate to put it away!

I owned this originally on tape and was thrilled to find it available used on CD.

It is my all time favorite instrumental Christmas music, along with a few beautiful Christmas carols, it features mostly classical music to be enjoyed during the Holiday season.

I actually play it all year round.
