Originally prepared by Swedish women in the home, an eggwhite facial was a weekly tradition to maintain pure glowing skin. Victoria created the first eggwhite soaps in the early 1900s, and added gentle rose water and lanolin to soothe and make the skin soft to the touch. I love these kinds of beauty things... These soaps smell so good in a fresh and feminine way (not overbearing though) and leave skin very soft. I don't know that I feel it made a huge impact on the condition of my skin but I have used it as my basic soap too and loved it all the same.
