This is definitely a cute mug which I get tons of compliments on when I do use it. Just be aware that the bottom of the cup is not glazed (at least it wasn't on my set) and can scratch surfaces. The tea bag holder part is rather shallow so if you don't squeeze your tea bag dry before setting in the holder, when you tip the cup to drink, liquid collected in the holder does spill. Otherwise, this is a cute set and a great value and would make a great gift.

The cups are really adorable and make a great and impressive gift. My mother got a kick out of them when I gave them for her birthday. I took a star off simply because of the perspective of the photo. The cats have a much longer neck than you can see in the photo, it looks a little like a double chin, which I think makes them look even cuter but that's just my opinion. The eyes also look much sleepier than they appear in the photo. So although they are not quite as they appear in the photo I am still pleased with them.
