This carousel is beautiful, but very noisy when it runs. It made so much noise that we sent our first item back (free shipping and return was very easy) and requested a replacement. The replacement arrived ... and one of the horses didn't move up and down at all, when we tried to see if we could manually move it, it was very sticky and caused the carousel to jerk as it turned. The mechanism of this one also is noisy, louder than the music.

So ... the second one is going back too and this time we have requested a refund. We'll shop locally for a replacement item as we want to hear it before purchasing.

As for customer service, when I didn't get an email reply within 3 days, I called and received prompt attentive service. The email was finally answered almost two weeks after I sent it and they didn't seem to realize that my item had already been received back and the replacement was on its way.

The Carousel arrived broken. My mother who the gift was for loved it but, it was very disappointing to open a broken gift. And, to my knowledge she nor I have heard anything back from Bradford exchange yet. If it were me I would demand my money back... But, she really loves it. I realize things get broken. But, your the communication now could improve ALOT!
