This isn't what I had expected. It is a 1991 book but Victorian is 1860 at the latest and this "ain't it!" It's a showcase for florals a la 1990 that falls flat. Although the floral motifs are pretty the book just doesn't do justice to it's designer. After seeing the cover and knowing some of Jane's work I thought it would be great. It's dull and forget the christmas ornaments. I found them sad. A 5 year old's work could make more delightful designs than those presented by her editor.
