Fascinating insight into 19th century sexual subculture
This book is a fascinating insight into 19th century sexual subculture for that reason alone it is a book I have to say I like. It is also a real turn-on at times although the lack of consent in many of the stories is a bit disturbing. Spanking, spanking, some more spanking
Excellent book for those who would enjoy a 500-page Spank-o-Rama. Not so good for those who would enjoy variety.

This book is a fascinating insight into 19th century sexual subculture for that reason alone it is a book I have to say I like. It is also a real turn-on at times although the lack of consent in many of the stories is a bit disturbing. If you are into erotic spanking, SM or DD you will probably enjoy this book - especially if you have a slightly intellectual bent and are interested in history. Despite the cover there are also a few long stories about men who enjoy being "birched" (most of the stories are about birching), although mostly it is the rear end of women who end up going rosy pink. This book is actually fairly hard core, so be warned!
