AS AN ARTIST I LOVE THE OLD TIME PHOTOS OF THE LADIES!!!! BEAUTIFUL COLOR PLATES

This is a great book to find out about the life and
pastimes of the Victorian lady. The drawings are so
beautiful in it. I highly recommend thi to anyone
interested in the Victorian era.

Great book for the price! I am learning alot about the 19th century era for women. I hope to purchase more similar books. Thanks!!

This book is a great reference guide for anyone wanting to learn about the pastimes and life of the victorian lady. The illustrations in this book are absolutely beautiful. Although some parts of this book are hard to read due to being printed on designed paper, if you try to read it, it should not be very difficult. I would also recommend this book to anyone wishing to give a victorian tea, garden, afternoon, or dinner party.

print on side panels of each page are very hard to read. very small and light print , very thin font,, on colored paper.was looking forward to this book but can't read part of it.

As a "Victorian Lady" at heart, I felt this was a wonderful story of the Victorian Age. I could almost picture myself as the ladies they describe. I loved it! It's a book I'll read over and over again.
