Victorian Leather and Lace Wedding Boot

These boots are so beautiful and I can't wait to wear them at my wedding next year! The other reviews don't offer size info... so I will give a little hint here. They are narrow, so order about a half size larger. When I bought mine, they did not have my "boot size" (7.5) so I got an 8 and they fit perfectly. The toe is a little pointier than I thought it would be, but it makes for an elegant and Victorian look.

I ordered these boots and what a surprise. They came earlier than expected. On top of that they are the nicest boots. Very comfortable and truly beautiful. The lace allows them to breathe so they are quite comfortable even in hot weather.

Bought the ivory version of these boots for my wedding, and found that they were not a true ivory but a very light, almost pearly tan with a gray sheen. Had to return for the stark white.

The white boots are very pretty; detailing and style are quite nice and I received many compliments on the boots both when wearing them and when they were sitting about. The shape of the shoe and placement of the heel was very nice for walking and dancing in. The only complaint I had was that the edges of the lace paneling in the boots were not encased by some sort of lining, but were exposed. The exposed lace edges were very rough, and tended to pierce through thin stockings or socks. This caused holes and runs in a few stockings, as well as being uncomfortable against my skin, until I fixed the issue with a few strategic strips of moleskin.

All in all, still very happy with my purchase.

We received these boots after more than one month because auf custom problems. But it was worth it. They have a good look and feel. Moreover you can be sure that the weight is exactly like that what you have ordered. I can't say this of the boots which are shown on the picture above. We ordered the closed boots version in ivory. But we received boots which were not really ivory colored, the color looks like a pearlmutt metallic. Second we didn't receive a closed version in full leather, the boots we received look like the white pair on the right with the draped insert.

But in the end we can say, that these boots are beautiful, too. You can't buy a style like this in Germany, these boots are really unique. And they are very comfortable despite of a 3 inch heel.

i got these boots and they are more beautiful then i expected. the color was not exactly what i expected but it is still beautiful. it will still match my dress perfectly. when i got the boots however one of the top flaps was bent and one of the tongues was wrinkled, but nothing a little re-enforcement will fix =)

Very well made and true to size. Very much worth the money. I saw them other places for as much as $180!!! Beautiful and comfortable.

I have been watching these boots for a year in their online catalog. When I finally had the money the price went from $99.99 to $139.99. What gives? I just finally got the money to buy them so I paid the $139.99 for them thinking that the economy was causing the price increase. Now I look at them two weeks later to see them selling at $99.99. I love the shoes but I feel really ripped off! I would like for them to give me the difference back. If they don't I will not shop with them again. I did not buy these boots for a wedding or for any special occasion. I only bought them because I liked them. Why am I being ripped off? I am sad that I won't shop from them again unless they reimburse me. My husband, who is a lawyer, say's this is wrong. I hope they do the right thing especially considering with this economy where a person can be more choosey on what company you can buy from.
