Color bright and looked like the picture, quality good. I was very pleased and thought it was a good value for the price.

These placemats impress me for lying flat on the table, and their size is great as well. They are woven evenly with a consistant thickness, and I think it's what makes them lay flat. They have a natural fiber look to them that is appealing, but can be sponged off without affecting their shape
like with some natural fibers. Who wants a placemat that doesn't lay flat or clean up well? Just my opinion, but rectangular placemats are boring.

Just got these and put them on the table. They are very cute, I'm thinking of ordering more to have a bigger set. Good quality, simple and modern.

Unlike some other reviews I read I think these are great! I have no problem with them staying flat and I feel they were a good value for the price paid as well.

I could have gotten this at the dollar store. Very poor quality and it isn't flat in the center, it raises up like a cone.

I know many stores carry these types of place mats. However, these mats are made
of a finer quality. The ones I ordered were considered chocolate brown. However,
they are a darker brown color with a grayish type hue (slight sheen) to it which makes
for a very interesting, and beautiful place mat. It looks great with my stainless steel
appliances and dinette set. I liked these mats so much, I dressed them up with lovely
cloth napkins, creatively folded in a weathered stainless steel napkin ring.

I got the black for a white formica table. Looks like very expensive item...Have not cleaned yet, however. Few hanging threads that had to be snipped off.

These placemats are so flimsy they will not lay flat on the table; the edges roll, they look really stupid, and want to slide around. Would not recommend.
