This review is from: Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875: Religious, Hunters, Pastoral, Occupations, Children & Animals, Dogs, Animals, Cottages & Castles, Sport & Miscellaneous (A Schiffer Book for Collectors) (Hardcover)
This book, along with the other two volumes by Harding, and the Pugh book (also put out by Schiffer) are the standard references on the subject of Staffordshire figurines. Although the values given to each piece tend to be way too high (often by about 100 - 200%), the research is well-done, and information on potteries, etc. is reliable and extensive.
