Great Paring Knife,

Outstanding for the price. Sharp and easy to sharpen when needed. Offers enough flexibility for quick and easy pealing and fluting. I utilize this little guy for de-boning chickens as well. I've de-boned quite a few with a much more expensive MAC knife specifically made for poultry de-boning, and I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this knife. And the great thing is that it is no major loss if my wife accidentally throws it in the sink or dishwasher (a different story with my chefs knife though!) I highly recommend this knife.

This is an excellent knife for the price. It's one of my favorites. The edge stays sharp a long time and it's easy to re-hone the blade. I really appreciate the knife sheath to put it in. It's one of the most used knives in my arsenal.

I am giving it five stars because its a good value, its relatively inexpensive, and it does what its supposed to do. Most of the time if I am paring I use a potato peeler. If I need a paring knife I tend to reach for my Old Hickory carbon paring knife but this will do the job too. You should have a paring knife around. Maybe if you want something to quarter grapefruit. Its a good knife.
